Crozar runs with his giant antlers to a new position and fires another buzzsaw at the creature.  The mass of flesh raises a flabby arm and smacks the disk out of the air...  [Waiting on Crozar to confirm his move location]

After Crozar moves then fires his bow, the creature responds by smacking the disk out of the air.  Then with Kubo's failed attack (aid another) drawing its attention, it slams its might fist down on the dwarf...

Attack 1: [1d20+10]=3+10=13, Damage: [2d8+5]=3+5=8; MISS!!

But Kubo manages to dodge out of the way of the blow.

The creature follows up the failed attack with a swing at whomever randomly draws its attention... Random target (Betimi, Kubo, Selina or Ning): [1d4]=2

Still focused on the Dwarf he slams his other fist down on Kubo...

Attack 2: [1d20+10]=19+10=29, Damage: [2d8+5]=9+5=14; HIT!!

The beast's large fist bashes the Dwarf into the ground.  [14 damage!]  Kubo knows another blow like that will take him out.

Kubo then delays...

Tegab whimpers at Tomeal, unsure if he should follow the new companion.

[Selina's turn...]

Selina brings the blade behind her and swings with all her might, trying her hardest to protect everyone she could was starting to wear her down.  She didn't have much left and this needed to end soon.

Douse the Flames: [1d20+12]=16+12=28; Damage: [2d6+4]=8+4=12; Sonic: [1d6]=1  [[Whew!]]

The swing connects, driving the creature back.  She then turns to everyone, a hand on Betimi's back pulling her in the general direction of Away.

"Everyone!  Fall back!  Tomeal!  Wait until the burst before you finish it!"

And then she is moving herself, away as far as she can.

Selina strikes the creature with a solid blow [8 damage], that captures the beast's attention!  As it turns to look, Selina lets loose with a string of oaths of his assured destruction, challenges to his parentage, and various other taunts that force it to focus its attention on on her.  [AoO negated for 1 round]

Betimi and Kubo then run out of the blast zone. [Both Kubo and Betimi can take a standard action (like attack) and run.  Let me know if either of you want to take that option]

[Ning/Nang's turns.  Remember Ning still has the spitfire options available.  Nang won't be able to heal anyone anyways because his touch only works on people below half health.  And if you use Spitfire Nang won't be able to cast any spells cuz your mouth is in use.  But it would probably make more sense to Spitfire due it needing to refresh for 1d4 rounds.]

Kubo will fight the highland way and run away to fight another day, digression being the better part of honour! And all that, as they say, as he can not take another hit like the last. He is going to get getting while the getting is good!  Tongue

[Even if you don't plan to attack, you still have a Standard or another move action to do something.  So if you have a potion or something else in your backpack you need, you can use a move action to take it out for next round.  You should always use up all your actions whenever possible.]
