Crozar takes a couple steps back in surprise, but then smiles at the great creature. To itself it says, "Interesting." and then the cacatae looks back at the giant tree. It says, "This seems to be a blessed meeting. May Sunshad bless you and your growth be unemcumbered," and bows deeply to the tree thing. "We are going to investigate that place," it says at it points towards the column of smoke, "Would you like to come with us?"
Realizing Crozar is as well spoken and charismatic as he is, and seems to have a plant-to-plant rapport with this creature, Ningalu just bobs up and down with amusement at Crozar's new flower covering and allows Crozar to take the lead in talking with the creature.

Selina relaxes a bit more. Friendship offering indeed. After the struggles they'd recently had, an interaction like this was a blessing not to be dismissed.
Kubo also relaxes a bit and lowers his gard and crossbow a bit, and moves closer to the group.
Betimi just watches impassively, while constantly scanning the forest for threats. She appreciates the peaceful outcome immensely, but it is not in her nature to ever drop her guard.
As Ningalu and Crozar resume Diplomacy, Selina turns to Simon. "Is your device sensing the strange energy readings we are all searching for any more strongly here?"

The creature sits back on its haunches, not looking particularly interested in doing anything right now other than eat. But while its chewing it digs in the ground and finds 3 rough stones of different sizes. It then takes the stones in both hands and squeezes them together. Light shines from between its wooden fingers. When the light dies down the creature opens its hands to show everyone the stones are now smooth and disk-shaped with a single strange symbol on each. It then reaches toward you as if urging you to take them.
Crozar will accept the stones with another bow. Standing backup again it will examine them closely. Not sure what skill would be appropriate.

Simon specializes in exotic creatures so has been mesmerized on the huge creature sitting in front of him. Hearing someone speak to him slowly brings him back to reality. He scrambles for his device and turns it on and immediately it lights up and points in the general direction of the thin column of smoke.
"It's stronger but we aren't where we want to be but we're close."
When Crozar examines the stones he notices each one has a runic symbol. From smallest to largest is a bird, a wolf and a bear. He also notices that the smooth discs are shaped more like flat seeds.
