Betimi can do lightning or cold, Selina can do sonic, and Ning can breath fire and acid. Only thing we don't have covered is aligned damage or positive /negative
[[Force damage. But that's as difficult to find as it is to find creatures with resistances to it. I think the compiled Monster Manuals and Fiend Folio list only 2 or 3, with one of them being Force Dragons.]]
[OoC: As you will soon find out (and I alluded to - see spoiler) these creatures have a unique type of Fast Healing. While above 0 hit points they heal 3 hit points per round but while they're below 0 hit points they don't die. Instead they regenerate 1 hit point per hour until they regain consciousness. Then they start healing 3 hit points a round, again. And remember, Simon and Ning/Nang discovered they are resistant to Fire. So far you haven't seen any energy type they seem particularly vulnerable to.]
"The creatures continue to regenerate their wounds. Strangely the unconscious creatures don't seem to be healing. Or if they are, it's at a much slower rate. With their blood frenzy, the creatures don't hesitate to attack!"
[OoC2: Remember, Divine casters don't need 8 hours of sleep like Arcane caster do to learn their spells. So Selina could be woken up too. ]

He then he back to Beltimi to check the developing situation.
[I think you mean, Tomeal? Not Taemyl. ]
[OoC: Kubo needs to make a move silently check.]
Tomeal had taken a place close to Selina to rest. When Kubo quietly wakens him, Tomeal will awaken with a start. His hand immediately grasps for the pommel of his sword, ready to impale whatever it was that startled him awake. Seeing Kubo causes Tomeal to immediately relax and take a deep breath. Tomeal nods and follows Kubo to the mouth of the cave.
[Selina (and anyone else who wants to) can make a Listen check to see if she wakes up when Tomeal is woken up. Sleeping gives you a -10 penalty. The rest of you will have the -10 penalty plus an additional penalty based on distance.]
[[Then what explains the beast that Selina one-hit critted into a pelt? With regeneration, it would stay unconscious at a VERY high negative hit point level and then gradually regenerate HPs...not get flayed alive. The only other thing I can think of is some sort of odd vulnerability to massive damage.]]
[[I accidentally rolled her regular mod for Listen, so -10 that's a 5, which is sufficient to beat the DC0 of "people talking" or the DC (-10) of "a battle."]]

[OoC: Well, being turned into a pelt was a bit of hyperbole. It reminded me of an old Shadowrun video game. When you got a mission to hunt hellhound for their pelts, as soon as you kill a hellhound they instantly turn into stretched out pelts. It seems the only way to kill something that doesn't have a specific vulnerability is through starvation, thirst, or suffocation. So hanging (or just tying a rope around its neck), burying or drowning them seems like the best bet.
P.S. I usually allow Coup de Grace to kill regenerating creatures. Especially if it's from an attack they target is vulnerable to.]
[OoC: I assume they will be whispering (DC15) not talking (DC:0). ]
But whatever Kubo's roll, Tomeal decides to wake Selina. He knows it won't disrupt her praying for spells so there's no reason for her to remain sleeping when there's a possibility of her being surprised. She can make up the few minutes she misses to get the full 8 hours for healing purposes. Unlike arcane casters, she wouldn't need to add an extra hour onto her sleep for being interrupted to benefit from restful sleep.

Selina's awakening is much less abrupt and violent than Tomeal's. Her eyes blink several times to ward the sleep out of them and she looks up at Tomeal with a gentle smile, until he lets her know that the creatures are back and she sighs tiredly. Without a word, she begins to softly rouse, holding her bedclothes up to herself and looking at her armor, wondering if they can spare the time it will take her to don it.
Before she went to bed, Tomeal would have suggested that Selina use one of the suits of light armor as pajamas. Then if they were surprised in the night she would still have some protection.
If you want to get into heavy armor, Selina will need help and it will take 4 minutes. Not really that long when you're not counting individual rounds. Tomeal will of course avert his eyes and offer to help.
