Selina swings at the bug and despite feeling a boost in her morale she misses.  She immediately feels the blade's annoyance with her for not only missing but for disengaging the creature.
  
[You now receive -1 to hit from the weapon being less wielding.  But if you do hit, the blade will reward you with +2 on damage.] 

Tegab moves east and growls menacingly at the bug hanging onto Kubo.  Selina follows close behind.

Betimi then shoots at the bug attached to Tomeal and despite shooting into melee she hits the bug, bloodying it.

Map: The yellow circle around Selina is her light source.  I just realized Roll20 lets me add lighting to characters.  I thought that was only for paying memebers.

Ningalu flies up 5 fet while mentally communicating to his brother.  ~If you have a spell that will help, cast it, none of my spells will affect these vermin. Mind-affecting spells will be of no help~
Nang thinks back, ~You have a few like glitterdust or casting blur and invisibility on others.  But no time to argue.  You shoot your crossbow with your hands and I'll use your mouth and my hand to cast spells.~

Taking over his brother's mouth, Ning speaks the words of magic while the hand sticking out of his chest complete the somatic components.  Suddenly a blazing ray of flame scorches Lice1!

Ranged touch attack: [1d20+8]=6+8=14, Damage: [4d6]=11; HIT!; 11 damage (not even average)  Dodgy  ; 31+11 = 42 total damage to Medium Lice1

[OoC: Will post monsters actions (hopefully) in the morning.  Maybe Ning will have shot or did something with his hands by then.]
Ningalu loads, then fires his crossbow, also at Lice 1.

Knowledge Nature: [1d20+7]=14+7=21

~The only extraordinary sense they seem to have is Scent.  Which means they can only sense direction and it's only when they're within 5' can they pinpoint a target.~

Nang summons a Scorching Ray that streaks from the parasitic appendage in the center of Ning's chest and blasts Lice1.  

Ning follows up the Ray with a crossbow bolt that also finds its mark.  The bug shutters and squeals in pain but then continues it's march toward the core of the fight!

Lice1 follows it's instincts and attack its closest target, Betimi.  

Bite attack: [1d20+7]=18+7=25, Damage: [1d6+1]=6+1=7, Grapple: [1d20+8]=11+8=19; Grapple should be +15. Grapple = 26; HIT!; Betimi needs to roll a 20 for her grapple check to tie and hopefully win a second roll.

The Bug leaps onto Betimi's abdomen and sinks its spear-like mouth deep into her stomach! [7 damage] [Waiting for Betimi's Grapple roll]

While the Medium Lice2 is happily sucking blood out of Kubo's chest, its body is getting noticeably bigger.  [-1 Constitution]

Lice3 finally closes within striking distance.  It leaps onto Crozar's thigh and spears his thigh!

Bite attack: [1d20+7]=19+7=26, Damage: [1d6+1]=2+1=3, Grapple: [1d20+15]=20+15=35; HIT!; 3 damage!; Auto Grappled!

The bug immediately yanks its mouth-part out of the Cactacae and instead of attaching, it just falls off the Cactus-man and vomits up the sticky sap it tasted in its attack.

Lice4's belly swells as it automatically sucks more blood out of Tomeal. [ -1 Constitution] 

The swarms continue to advance.  

Swarm1: Swarm2: Swarm1 is somehow unable to get past Kubo's defenses.
Selina miraculously is not damaged from the Swarm but she is still infested.
Poor Tegab is swarmed and begins losing strength from all the tiny bites.

Swarm2 continues to attack Tomeal and Tomeal continues to be unable to fight off their attacks.  He drops to his knees as his strength begins failing him...
Swarm2 also passes through the fire elemental but doesn't seem affected by the flames emanating from its body!

[FYI: Remember this swarm doesn't hold you.]

It's now Tomeal's, Crozar and Elphaba's turns!

Tomeal refuses to give up.  He lifts himself up and struggles against the man sized bug that was draining the life out of him.

Grapple Check: [1d20+10]=19+10=29; Succeeded!!! HOLY SHITE!!!

Grapple Check: [1d20+15]=12+15=27; Failed

Tomeal grips the creature's proboscis and rips it out of his flesh!  He drops the critter and not thinking, he immediately moves to H-13.  The critter hisses and leaps at him... makes it's AoO...

Attack: [1d20+7]=13+7=20, Damage: [1d6+1]=1+1=2; Grapple: [1d20+15]=3+15=18; MISSED!!  By 1 point!

Finally out of the swarm, Tomeal groans,  "Blessed be Seluna!  I escaped!  Now where's my Selina!"

CROZAR'S TURN!!

Crozar will take a quick five foot step back where he started (H-8) to move away from the mass of threats and hoping that now that the lice knows it can't feed on it that the bug will be less likely to bite again.  As the plantman moves it directs the elemental to charge north in assistance (to J-10).  Both of them then attack the vomiting vermin (Lice3).

[OoC:  Crozar, I've been offering tactical ideas to both you and Kubo because I know you both are new to 3.5 edition and you might not recall or have no knowledge of certain rules.  So I was wondering if there's a specific reason why you moved to I-8?  I'm asking this because you moved the elemental to J-10.  If you moved to H-8 you both would get a +2 flanking bonus to hit the bug.  If you have a plan, that's fine but I just wanted to remind you of the flanking option. ]
