Nacesh stands guard outside the door, eyes wide open for any nasties that may return.
Upon Jonath's call he joins for a cursory glance (take10=11 to aid another) but he seems to be eager to return to his voluntary guard post
Hearing Jonath's plea for help, and realizing that Selina must have wandered off somewhere, Betimi quickly returns and enters the guard-house.
She crouches beside Jonath and Nacesh and attempts to
aid Jonath.
While Jonath is inside trying to give First Aid to the guard clinging to life, Betimi walks around the building looking for anything out of the ordinary. She notices some small reptilian footprints and when she peeks over the edge of the ravine she spots the broken remains of about 4 wagons.
Then hearing the gnome call for help, Betimi and Nacesh rush to the guards side. Between the three of you, you are able to provide enough aid to stop him from deteriorating further.
When you have a chance to look around the room, anything worth anything was looted, including any equipment that would be easily removed.
Mardak continues forward to where the rest of the group is. He waits just outside the guard house with Beast in tow, but he reigns in the rope more to get Beast closer to his mama (Betimi) :p

Selina snaps back to reality from...somewhere, and wanders over to where she heard Jonath calling for aid. She rushes over there and sees the scene, moving over to the fallen guard to try to lend what assistance she can provide.
"Oh my! It is a good thing you knew what you were doing and could help him. Don't worry sir, you will be just fine. We won't let you go."
((Ok...annoying, I have no idea how to use Unseen Servant macro and have no idea if this forum has a built-in roller macro. I think her Heal mod is +8))
[OoC: You can use the Invisible Castle website to roll too. You don't need to be a member but it does require a level of honesty that for now I'm willing to assume everyone is mature enough to show. We're adults so I hope there would be no need to cheat. This site currently does not have a dice roller but they are working on one. ]

Selena steps in and applies her
skills and with the help of the others manages to restore 2hp's of healing through her Heal skill. [Selena's heal check is 14 + 6 (aid other x3) =20 final score. Twenty is enough for a Guard with d8 hp's per level to get 2hp's back. If you would have rolled a 25 he would have got back 4hp's, a 30 = 6hp's etc. ] So while the guard is out of the woods he will still need a day or so to recover without magical healing.

"Good sir, can you tell us what happened?," Jonath asks the guard once Selina's ministrations have stabilized him. With luck the guard would remember something useful, though given the severity of his wounds he may not recall anything of the incident.
Now that Betimi sees that Selina and Jonath have the guard well in hand, she reports her findings f the tracks and fallen wagons to the others.
"Mardak, let us use Beast and some rope to climb down and check those wagons, there may be other injured survivors of the attack down that escarpment."
She takes Beast's lead rope from Mardak, nodding her thanks at him for taking care of the animal he so obviously felt uncomfrtable with. Se begins uncoiking her rope from the pack saddle and tying one end to Beast's pack.
"Thank the gods everything was okay and Beast and I are the best of friends now. We shared stories and odd jokes. Oh yes we're good." He looks back to the pony whom is giving Mardak the evil eye. "See I told you...He was a perfect gentle-horse." He chuckles even though the situation may seem dire. "Alright alright, no more of that." He helps her with the rope, then tries to help her down but something clicks in his head that changes his mind. "Let me go down first sweetheart. Or would you like to catch me when I fall?" The last question he smirks and winks.
