Selina looks around warily, knowing that they are very exposed right now.  She rips a piece of cloth off her robe and uses it to dab the acid off of Betimi's skin, then throws the sodden rag away.  She looks at everyone and states "We need to regroup for a moment.  Fall back."  She uses the spell she had prepared and = 8+2 = 10]heals Betimi.
((guess I lost my post where Mardak went to her, oh well...OH WAIT, posted my action just before initiative was posted))
[OoC: initiative was rolled. Tomeal rolled a 13 and you rolled a 10. You did/can run to the door but Tomeal beat you to Betimi. Since Betimi was free ed by Jonath and Tomeal's efforts, I jumped to Selina so she could try to figure out what was going on.]

Betimi's arm appears fully healed, her eyes blink slowly, but she is unable to even muster a moan.
((Okay just got confused. I posted half an hour before you posted initiatives that Mardak ran to her and pulled her out. I did not realize that there was going to be combat of any sort or Initiative was going to be rolled.))
((Urk! Just realized that I accidentally used a d20 roll instead of the correct d8 roll. CLW: [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7 That's the correct one. Sorry Sad ))
[OoC: UGGHHHHH!!!  It has been a long night.  I accidentally spilled a glass of coke on my keyboard.  So of course it isn't working any more.  Then I switched to a laptop and it wouldn't connect to the internet even though everything else connects fine.  An hour later it just decides to start working.   Dodgy   At least tomorrow is the last day of the year!!  ]

Anyways...

[OoC: Selina remember when casting cure spells from your own spell list, you roll (1d4+4) instead of D8.  Any cure spells cast from magic items or scrolls roll the regular d8's.  You can also spend an entire minute to maximize the dice of cure spells.  So for a 1st level Cleric, you would roll [(1d4+4)+1 per level up] This rule applies to inflict spells by evil clerics too! ]

Selina prays to Selune and fully cures the acid damage on Betimi's hand but she is still paralyzed.  Tomeal asks, "So are we going to wait here for a couple of minutes to see if the paralyzation wears off or do we attempt to move her outside?  I'm surprised we haven't encountered more resistance.  Either we are extremely lucking or something is going on..."  The look on Tomeal's face and his tone hints that he doesn't believe they are THAT lucky.
Selina nods in agreement. Truly, she had just told them all that they needed to fall back, but if the extra voice helped encourage things along...

Betimi was not going to be moving any time soon, despite seemingly being completely healthy. The group needed a better plan if they were to continue.
Divinity and their miracles and prayers always vexxed the Hexblade.  In Mardaks opinion, invocations were 'never answered' and gods were nothing more than 'overbearing parents'.

"Pfft...Not like we have anywhere else to be, right..."  He mutters after he dislodges the torch from the ground.  Though looking at the paralyzed woman gives him somewhat of a pang of guilt.  "Bah, It is best we stay together...Can't trust dem Kobold bitches, sneakin' up behind us and jabbin a stick up our asses."  Mardak leans against a wall then looks to Selina.  "How she lookin' Doc?"
Selina looks at Mardak like he's grown a second head.   "If you've nowhere else to be, then I suggest you come provide some support for Ms. Betimi here.  We will be needing Betimi at full strength, and she obviously needs to be able to move.  End statement.  My suggestion is that we follow the order of battle from here on and allow master Jonath to test every nook and cranny we approach for any more of these nasty little pitfalls before we attempt to address them."  That last part was more directed Betimi's way, since Selina knew she was alive and able to hear her.  The Cleric did not know what had happened, exactly, but Jonath seemed to be just fine.  She could deduce enough from that.  She was also worried about her spell status.  They had not yet encountered their true enemy and she had already spent another of her healing spells.  She was not so much a font of healing until she could rest again.
