(OoC: well, Jonath was going to check "the southern corridor near were he fought the kobolds" before being redirected to the south room by Betimi. I assumed the large area to the south that I opened up for him on the new map was what he was talking about.

And last reminder for anyone that may have missed it, the north room (above the room with the triple bunk beds) is accessible and hasn't been searched. Just making sure everyone knows since Betimi thought it was closed off.]

"Remember, come back to me if you get in any shit.  Strength in numbers is better than getting a stick uip your ass."
"I have no interest in taking the kind of beating Sir Jonath took in that last battle, as I hope neither does he."

She pauses briefly to glance into the un-searched 'storeroom as she passes, just to see if anything significant stands out.

[Spot [1d20+1] = 12+1 = 13]
Jonath disappears behind the cart and then peers down the corridor.  Even with his darkvision he can't see all the way down the passage because it slopes downward and then upward.  But from what he can tell, it looks empty.

Betimi does a quick scan of the store room full of crates and barrels.  Except for a few rats scurrying between containers, she doesn't see anything.

Meanwhile, Jonath decides to make his way down the passage.  He moves with such stealth that no one spots him move from the cart and slip down the passage.  Moving slowly he doesn't notice anything suspicious and at around the 30' mark sees the next 30' is a set of about 3 upward sloping steps.  Slowly climbing the stairs he eventually comes to the end where the corridor joins another that stretches north and south.  Located in the center of that passage, also traveling north and south, are more cart tracks.

[OoC: The photo sharing site is of course down for maintenance so an update will have to wait.  Sorry. :Sad  ]
As quietly as she can Betimi tries to follow Jonath, keeping between 15-20' back , so that the party following can keep her in their light without revealing Jonath.
Mardak moves forward with his torch slowly.
[OoC: I don't know if it's just my computer but Photobucket is now now saying, "this web page is not available."  So yeah...  Dodgy   Anyways, I will for now have to use this site's Photo sharing. ]

[And a reminder that I allow spot checks to detect traps when not actively searching.  I do these checks in private and the DC is around +5 but can be higher depending upon the trap. The DC can also be further modified by the players Trap Sense Modifier.  Unfortunately, Psychic Rogues don't appear to get trap sense.  Undecided

[: I read online in one of the handbooks that Psychic Rogues don't get the Skill: Use Psionic Device.  The writer felt this was an oversight.  So I did some digging and looking at the WotC website they do give the Psychic Rogue Use Psionic device.  You might have already known this but I thought I would bring it up in case you didn't.  The WotC Website is here.  ]

And here is your updated map...
"I reckon y'all being silent ain't workin'...Kobold fuckers don't give a rat's ass whos face pokes into their homes.  In fact, I'd be guessin' here, don't quote meh, they will shoot us in the balls until it's no longer funny."  Mardak moderately complain/advises the group.  There wasn't much else to be said except for a few other choice comments that may or may not have not been ass-ish.

"See anything yet ladies?  I could use more rest.  These kids better not be brats either, last thing I need is an ankle hugger."
All of you follow Jonath and stop around 20' behind him. [Keep in mind that the dim area extends another 20']  Tomeal looks at the party and whispers, "Still not much resistance.  These tunnels should be overflowing with Kobolds!  But there's nothing!"
Assuming that the northern path connects back up with the main tunnel, Jonath heads that way just to confirm. He didn't want to head any deeper into the stronghold until he was sure he knew how to get back out, and what lie between him and the exit.
