[OoC all clerics have access to Detect Magic, just because you don't have it memorized doesn't mean you can't memorize it tomorrow, so I don't think we'd need to wait for Cantus. But I think GM Marvel was referring to one of the other spellcasters]
"Come on Naked, grab ye some spears...not the ones with heads on them...Those are decorations.  If they be wantin' to impregnate this entrance, they will have to come through us!"  He readjusts his hat and trudges forth to where such co-ordinates were put into place by Betimi.

(his last spot check was for guard duty)
[OoC: Yes, Nacesh has Detect Magic. It's the only 0 level spell he has picked.]

[OoC: So are we casting a detect magic?  What treasure are you keeping?  Who's carrying it?

Remember: Inappropriately Sized Weapons
A creature can’t make optimum use of a weapon that isn’t properly sized for it. A cumulative -2 penalty applies on attack rolls for each size category of difference between the size of its intended wielder and the size of its actual wielder. If the creature isn’t proficient with the weapon a -4 nonproficiency penalty also applies.

Have we decided upon looking for shelter or moving on?  In either case, where are you going?

Here's a map so you don't have to go looking for it...

"Tomreal votes we should rest, I voted we should press on. What do the rest of you say? And if we do decide to rest, where? Do we stay in the cave and try to defend a room, or do we go out and make camp somewhere?"
The sorcerer ignores the inappropriate title Mardak likely tried to stick on him and ignores the toy-spears as well, unless they are definitely of exquisite quality.
He reacts to Tomeal instead,
"If we are to leave things behind better scan them now."
(casts Detect Magic) [OOC - it's DND; I wouldn't have held my horses if we were in Pathfinder Smile ]

To Betimi, Nacesh says,
"We surely don't have time for a full rest until they notice what went on here so we may push on-- for now. Unless, of course, we can safely cover evidence of us ever having been here."
[[If this was pathfinder, Selina wouldn't get cure minor wounds.  Good thing too, for balance sake.  But she could drown a dungeon if she chose to. O:-) ]]
Betimi's face brightens as she suddenly seems to have an epiphany.

"Mister Nacesh, what a fabulous idea, you are pure genius."

She hands back the crossbow to Tomreal and walks a few steps to one of the scorched kobold bodies in the hallway. Picking it up she struggles to get it to the metal door where she had seared her arm.

Pulling the odd shelf door open, she heaves the kobold's body up onto it the tries to close the door, stuffing the kobold through the slot.

That done she turns to the others.

"Quickly, everything we aren't taking, be it spears, bodies, body parts, torn ckoth, everything. Bring it here. There will be no trace except the scorch mark of Mister Nacesh's spell, trust me."

"What traces that remain they dare not open tbis door to check."

"Don't forget the guards outside. bring them in as well. Then all the rest will know of our visit is that there was some noise and a scorch mark; and their guards went missing. The problem isif we rest outside we will face double the guards to reenter at least, if we rest inside there is no point hiding the bodes."

As she speaks she picks up another body and hauls it to the door.
Feeling much refreshed, though still sore, from Selina's healing magics, Jonath stands. "I too feel we should press on. Our activities here will only add more threat to the captives we seek, and make a second attempt even less likely to succeed." He then grabs up one of the goblin's slings and a pouch of bullets - certainly not a favored weapon of his, but better than being caught without a ranged weapon at all as he had been to this point.
Betimi continues struggling with 'cleanup'.  As she does so she says "I am not interested in any of those magic items, the gold should still go towards our Charter, with what's left being divided up amongst us LATER."

"The staff may be of interest for you Sir Jonath."
