[OoC: I actually meant E10 to move into I2 not I1]

[OoC: If you move any more than 5' the bot will get an attack of opportunity.  Remember I-1 is half the size of a regular square.  Because of that you will need to squeeze into the square (triangle) which counts as two squares of movement.  You can try to tumble through I-1 to I-2 and hope you succeed because if you fail the bot will get an AoO on you.  Or you can just take the 5' step and move to G-1.]

[[As I said to Eva, if you move to I-1 you will have to squeeze through the square. (see below).  Let me know if you're still moving to I-1 or moving to G-1 instead.]]

[[Eva:  I was mistaken about tumbling through the square (I-1) giving you a -2 on your check but it would count as 2 squares and while tumbling you'd move half speed.  So it would cost 4 squares of movement.  ]]

Quote:Squeezing
In some cases, you may have to squeeze into or through an area that isn’t as wide as the space you take up. You can squeeze through or into a space that is at least half as wide as your normal space. Each move into or through a narrow space counts as if it were 2 squares, and while squeezed in a narrow space, you take a –4 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to AC.

To squeeze through or into a space less than half your space’s width, you must use the Escape Artist skill. You can’t attack while using Escape Artist to squeeze through or into a narrow space, you take a –4 penalty to AC, and you lose any Dexterity bonus to AC.

[[ OoC - Eva has moved from G0 to I2 not to I1. Both I1 and I2 are narrow spaces? And the robot was in G1 then. I think she moved by half speed across H1 to I2. She has used acrobatics check to tumble through a threatened square not escape artist ]]

[OoC: Uh, so moving from H1 to I2 is not just 5' step. Now I understand your previous post about Eva too. Are you sure about this rule in PF? Because in that case if somebody moves 5' step then he uses "half of the field I1" and "half of H2". If somebody moves to I1 and then to I2 that is more then a free 5' step during a continuous fight. In that case he uses the whole space in I1.]
Eva sees that she is now the primary target and her rapier is not so effective against the robot so she fights defensively (-4 att, +2AC). Perhaps she will use total defense later. She hopes the others will destroy this robot while she is playing the role of bait.

Eva's rapier attack: [1d20+2]=12+2=14 damage: [1d6+1]=3+1=4

[[ What are the disadvantages if she is going up on the bed? AoO? Acrobatics? She has left a move action. ]]

Sorry for messing up your position.  I can move you back to I-3 if you wish.

Only I-1 is considered 2 squares.  I-2 and I-3 are full squares.  You won't be able to make a 5' step from H-1 iinto I-1 because it counts as 2 squares.  Once you're in I-1 you can move into any open space with a 5' step.
[OoC: can we not move 5' in a diagnal direction , or just N, E, S and W?]

Yes you can take a 5' step in a diagonal direction.  Diagonal movement in 3e, 3.5e and Pathfinder is always counted as, 1 space, 2 spaces, 1 space, 2 spaces or 5', 10', 5', 10' etc.  So if you move north 10' then diagonal 5', you've move 15'.  If you move North 10', diagonal 5', then North 5' then diagonal again 5' that would be a total move of 30' because the second diagonal is considered 10'.  The idea is when you move diagonally it's 7.5' but they round down.  So when you move diagonal twice it's 7.5 x 2 = 15'.  I hope that makes sense.

[[ What are the disadvantages if she is going up on the bed? AoO? Acrobatics? She has left a move action. ]]

[It depends on what you want to do.  Unless you try to tumble while doing one of these Maneuvers the bot will get an AoO from the bot.  Remember, you can only tumble at half speed*.
  • With a DC10 Acrobatics check you can hop-up onto the bed for 10' of movement.  (20' if tumbling)
  • You can crawl onto the bed but only 5' per move action but it's not considered a 5' move.  Then you can move off the bed with a normal move action. (*see below)
*When crawling you can only move 5' and when tumbling you can only move half speed.  So you're not able to tumble when crawling because half speed would be only 2.5'.  But you can add 10 to the DC to tumble at normal speed so you would move the full 5'.  ]
