[[OOC: Bazz has a severe brain fart and forgets the word and context for druid as a concept for a few minutes.
"What are those things? You know the casters with the wood and trees and rawr?"]]
Anders says, "Well, we've got to go in. Are we trying the door or just kicking it in?" The dwarf glances at the giff.
"My vote is we all stand back, while one of us gently trie s the door."
He too, looks at the giff.
Rupert nods at the group, then cautiously approaches the door and gives it a try to see if the door is secured.
Pulling lightly on the rope handle, Rupert is able to easily tell that the rope is connected to a simple and light door bar on the other side. It would be a very simple thing to pull the rope and open the door.
Rupert glances over his shoulder to make sure everyone is in position, and is readying to react, before pulling on the rope cord and opening the door.
Melville stands about 15' back, and nods.

Stepping back that far would put you out on unplanked branches, just to be clear.
Anders steps back about 10' from the door, also just off the planks.
Melvill will step back as far as possible, while remaining on the 'planks'
Rupert pulls on the rope and the door swings open easily and smoothly. It is apparent that the cord does simple tie to a small board that fits into a small wooden latch. The room revealed is only about 8' deep and roughly 15' wide. Directly across from the stone door that Rupert has just pulled open is another stone door with a pull cord similar to the one of the outside door. Stacked on the right hand side of this small antechamber are numerous precut boards and planking, while on the left hand side are several small crates of nails, rope, belaying pins, hammers and saws, and other ship repair supplies.
