During the rest, Cash was able to remount the helm properly on the Wasp and some of the broken rigging replaced, allowing it to perform at least simple landing and take off procedures and basic maneuvers. He also added three large well mounted rings and thicker and normal belaying pins to hold the tow lines.
As everyone is getting ready to shuttle over, are there any last minutes things anyone wants to do on the Riposte?
Are still in the phologstone?
If so Rupert will stow his palm pistols in his trunk, to avoid the tempetation to use them

Yes, This entire little environment is all in a whirlpool of the Flow.
The four of you transfer over to the Wasp and begin planning your approach. Looking over the tree there are really two potential landing sites to actually touchdown securely across the four rough floors of the tree (based on obvious entrances): At the base of the tree on one of two of the wider roots, which would allow you to then use the built in handholds to climb up to what is functionally the "2nd level" or down to one of the entrances on the "1st floor" among the roots.
Alternately you may land on top of a small outbuilding in the branches at the top of the "4th floor" when you can see a built in ladder that provides access to the outbuilding and the walkway leading to the only entrance on the top floor.
Looking at the bottom and 3rd floor reveals the following entrances. The obvious paths and smaller trees are part of the dirt ball that surrounds the base of the tree. The ends of the roots are exposed outside of the dirt ball.
Bottom floor:
3rd floor (really just two small platforms on the north and southwest sides of the tree):
"DO YOU WANT TO START FROM THE TOP AND WORK OUR WAY DOWN, OR VISA VERSA?", Rupert asks his mates.
[[Clarification on the previous post. As shown on the map there is at least one spot on the bottom most floor where you could land between the roots on the dirtball.]]
"To most groundling cultures, the higher the point, the more important. Then again this is in the phlogiston, so all bets are off."
He thinks for a moment.
"My vote is the upper branches first."
Everyone who is giving the tree a close once-over while looking for landing spots can give me a perception check.
Anders has begun to cast a ritual
Augury and isn't really looking at the tree.
