Bazz compliments Cash's aim and precision as he fires off another blocking shot. [[Catapult shot: [1d20+4]=4+4=8+[1d6]=3 = 11. Puttting another bolder directly between you and the turtleship at height 1]]

The tail catapult of the turtle has no shot, so continues to hold.

The first boulder continues to drift away.

Threadvine follows Melville up to the forecastle and joins Ashheart.  He yells down to Chick, "One last big push should get us clear, Chick!"

The turtleship continues to spin and rise to avoid the latest shot Cash put in it's path. Melville and Bazz can give me a INT (arcana) check to see if you can determine the base speed of the Turtleship and something about the Spelljammer Boosting and if Threadvine's statement is correct, and Melville can add advantage to that due to his Spelljammer Navigation.

Rupert, the jettison is reloaded and ready to go.  What are you doing?

You both can tell that the base speed of the turtle ship is only 2.

Bazz, you can tell from the intermittent way the faint glow of the boost has surged across the deck they are not using a constant power source like a standard helm.  They are likely using something like a furnace or lifejammer, so their ability to maintain a boosted speed is likely limited by the supply of "fuel", as it were.
Rupert rushed to ain his next shot, and tries to estimate the turtle ships planned course, Wisdom (Insight) Check = [1d20+5]=1+5=6[OoC: I guess Rupert was a about over due for that roll]
Rupert tries to place a debris field in hex J, Weapon attack (without adjustments) = [1d20]=15

Rupert makes the call that the ship will dive and sets up another debris field to block that.

Because of the upward angle the Turtleship has taken neither of the Ballista has an angle to fire down on the Riposte.

Anders and Bill hold their turns for valid targets.

Melville, you doing anything?

Melville is going to ready another Fog Cloud, this time waiting until after the turtleships next movement before casting it, so that he can take his turn after tghe turtleship moves and position the Fog Cloud accordingly.
Annabelle helps Cash reload the catapult and ready the next shot.  [[Armament Assistance]]

The Riposte sighed softly as Chick dipped the prow down and the mystic aura suffusing the wood of the ship flared as Chick slammed her another magical boost into helm.  Catching the flow and the magical power of the helm the sails swell and the ship rockets forward into the Rainbow River leaving the turtleship in the lurch. [[With the Spelljamming Boost, Chick launches the ship forward and down 6 hexes to maximize the distance. As the turtleship was ascending that puts more than 10 hexes between the ships, which is enough for the flow to obscure any immediate attempts for the turtleship to try to follow.]]

Still maintaining high alert, Threadvine calls over to Melville and says, "Melville, head back down to the helmroom and help Chick find that river."  Through the telepathic network the word is quickly spread for everyone else to keep their eyes peeled in case the Turtleship gets lucky and stumbles across you again.

[[Melville, if you are heading down to the helmroom go ahead and give me a navigation tool check.  As the whole crew is looking for any kind of odd movement in the flow and calling it out, you can take advantage on the roll.  Everyone else can feel free to describe their watch or anything else they might want to do.  We are technically out of initiative at the moment.]]
There is not much Bazzalan can do.  So he will just sit and watch for the turtle ship while puffing on a pipe.
