were we able to retrieve the body from the brown mold and search it?
Starting >> HERE << you found the items quoted below. But you were not able to take them because the brown mold would freeze you if you got too close. After healing Chrome who tried to loot the body and was turned into a Popsicle, you decided to move on and come back later when you found something to destroy the mold. But you're back now so it's up to you what you want to do with the body.

Quote:Attached to his belt is an exquisite hand crossbow, a pouch of bolts, and a purse. His chain shirt looks particularly fine, even with the mold sticking out of it.

Reawyn looks at Eva. "Fire and heat will feed the brown mold, but attacking it with cold will destroy it. Do you have anything that would suffice?"
Nothing today but tomorrow I can memorize infinite Ray of Frost and a Snowball or Frostbite.
"We don't have time," Cin replies.  "We're already cutting it close with the Water Breathing's spells duration about run out.  So we can either leave him here and come back later or drag him behind us at a safe distance.  Either way, we need to make a decision, fast."
Yes, let's go further.
"I don't like the idea of dragging brown mold through water. We'll have to return for his body later."
Deciding not to take the body, you all quickly make your way back to the creek that brought you into the caves.  You finally arrive at the spot where you fought the fire beetles.

Dampness hangs in the air of this cave, condensing into heavy moister on the slick, stone walls.  There is a low ceiling with several stalagmites.  To the east you can hear the creek.  Assuming you approach, you find you're standing on the 5' ledge and the creek is only 10' away.  The air is eye watering and heavy with the bitter stink of mold and vinegar, but it is breathable, despite the unpleasant flavor -- narrow vents and fissures provide enough air circulation to keep the atmosphere breathable, if disagreeable.  The shallow creek runs north and south which is the direction of the town of Torch.

What do you do?
[Hello?  Huh ]
Ursk, you are the best swimmer, lead us out of here.

We go back on the same way as we arrived here.
