Glad you mentioned that. You're right and I'm partially at fault here. I'll try to work on being a bit more consistent.
We will also be getting a new player character soon. DM Hael will be joining up soon, hopefully.

A typical Cure Light Wounds potion heals 1d8+1 HP so IMHO you can rule a d8+1 and that will be fine if not then we could increase it with the correct value (+2 ... +5).
Eran is correct. CLW is actually 1d8 + (1/level), but they are usually not made as anything but first level.

Well aware of how much Pot of Cure Light Wounds heals. I was assuming GM Dougfan wanted to roll that... if not I shall in the IC thread.
Totally comfortable with players rolling things in these cases. I don't micromanage everything because I don't have enough time to do that as it is.
Oh, by the way, everyone gets 150 XP for the first battle with the bandits.
