The being held his hand out and several glowing white spheres around the size of children's marbles, appeared in his palm. "If some of you survive, Of which I have the utmost confidence, you will find two others restrained in the mayors office. They were from a previous squad who failed. Alas they were not as strong as you lot, but the two who remain didn't die. So that's something."
With that, the small glowing spheres fire away from his hand like bullets and dart into their targets.
(DM - Everyone roll save vs magic. Followed by a save vs psionics.)
Aaron exhaled sharply and braced as he would when taking a punch to the gut, as the magic spheres entered him.

The world exploded. The small bulb of light hit Marcus in the chest and he felt as though something had blasted through the center of him. To his surprise he kept his feet and just looked down at his chest. The light flared against him and his eyes seemed to absorb the power of it. Images crushed into his mind like an old film reel. Great shining towers in an ancient city. A white light flashes and those towers are blown to dust. A voice whispers into his skull. The mind has discovered the secret. The mind will show you. Let the mind lead you.
(DM - Marcus has complete control of both his physical and mental capabilities and has no penalties. He also sees and experiences everything the others see and experience.)
The world exploded. Khayman felt his skin light on fire as the sphere of light shot into him. Images flashed through his mind. A woman's face. His mother? Not the one he knew. A man with glowing hands. Hands whose power bleed into his skin. His father? Not the father he knew. But they feel like mother and father. The heart remembers if the mind does not. A voice rips through his skull. The voice of his father. "You are Atlantean! The blood will call to you. Call you to battle against those like him! Khayman's eyes are pulled directly to the shadow man and he knows the name of evil. Naraloth! Speak not his name, but know your enemy! He is one of many! But is of the greatest and the oldest of the dark powers. All evils flow from those of his ilk."
(DM - Khayman can move, but he is completely disoriented and suffers a -25% penalty to all skill checks for 10 rounds.)
The world exploded. Viego looked down upon the others. He felt his wings stretch out as he curled his long neck to take in the enormity of his powerful form. He heard a whisper, a whisper that was not his own, but that of some distant voice. Men and Dragons are one. Sacrificed in the Elder War to gain power. Power to fight the old ones. Dragons have forgotten, as have men. Seek the mind. The mind has discovered the secret. The mind remembers. Viego had his wits, but he could not control his body, it felt as though he were paralyzed.
(DM - Viego has control of his wits, but he is completely unable to control his body and suffers a -5 penalty to all attack actions for 10 rounds, his movement is reduced to 5ft per round and cannot attempt any physical skills. He also sees and experiences what the others see and experience.)
The world exploded. Aaron felt himself fly back from the force of the light bullet and hit the ground hard from where he had been. Everything was a blur. His memory shifted. A woman crying, screams at her husband. She looks like the mother you had always known. "You can't do THIS! They are MY SONS!" The man, voice hard and resolute, familiar. The only father you had known. "They are my sons too. And they will inherit the Coalition as gods among men. They are our future. They will reclaim our world for mankind." Everything spins and Aaron feels blackness overtake him.
(DM - Aaron passed out and is unconscious.)
The world exploded. Nolan heard a voice in his head and he knew it was the Shadow Man's. Ancient race. You kind stood against us. Your makers. You forbearers slipped through the shadows wielding magic and blade during the Elder War. Most of your elegant race was wiped out. But here you are, old blood rekindled. Old blood remembered. Power was unleashed to call forth your blood. Just a little touch, to make your body remember. Remember it's old strength. Nolan felt a sure of energy rush through him, and he felt to his knees completely disoriented.
(DM - Nolan can move, but he is completely disoriented and suffers a -50% penalty to all skill checks for 10 rounds.)
Viego wanted to scream but his body was locked against him. It was probably just as well because in the state of mind he was in he wasn't sure it wouldn't come out as more than a scream. He.. he was a dragon. A dragon! That fact he understood in his very being. It resonated with him instantly as a deep truth that he couldn't run from. Dragons and men are one? There was a war... Viego struggled to maintain his grip on his mental sanity. Khayman was an Atlantean... a warrior meant to fight the elder evils. Aaron and Marcus were gods among men. Nolan was... also something else. None of them were mere humans, none of them. Viego felt his world shatter over and over again as his mind was sent reeling from these facts as they flooded into him. He felt his body strain to move it felt like it was quivering, but it wouldn't listen to him.
Fear gripped his heart, as his mind reeling from the flood of information of truths flowing into him had him internally torn apart. Yet, it made sense in ways he felt instinctively. He tried to make sense of it all, but felt it was too much. As a single tear poured down his face he realized that the why of so many things just made sense.
Nolan struggles back to his feet and stumbled. He feels like a flash-bang went off in his head.
Hard to think, not even sure where he was.
He looks around and sees others similarly stricken, then his gaze settles on the crumpled form of Aaron.
[b] Damn it! He better not be dead. |b]
He starts to stumble in that direction, but disoriented he forgets himself and simply summons the magical energies to bring Aaron to him. Hopefully the car will provide some cover.
[Telekinesis - 4 ppe/60lbs. Assuming Aaron weighs between 240lbs. - 300lbs. with gear unless otherwise informed]
Khayman didn't move a muscle, knowing that if he did, he would more than likely fall flat on his face. Instead, he just stood there, looking upon the creature that had wrought this madness upon him and his boys. The voice of he who had been his blood father echoed in his mind. He wasn't human, he was Atlantean. He didn't know exactly how to feel about this revelation, but looking at the evil before him, he didn't much care either. Instead, he continued to stare, allowing his body and mind time enough to get back into sync with one another.
