Marcus tenses a bit as Sarge says his peace. He sighs and mentally tries to put Lyn out of his mind. Granted they weren't thaaat much older than them, and now that they were all eighteen it didn't matter. But still, it was like banging your babysitter he supposed. But moral right and wrongs that were not explicitly defined by the Coalition had a tendency to evade him.
After finishing up his pancakes, he downed his milk, gathered his things and went outside to await his .. 'teachers'.
---Nolan---
Its ..actually quite hard to tell by looking at the silver haired Psi-Stalker, but she's not telling Nolan something. Granted she isn't lying, he knows that for sure. But she is leaving something out.
Watching Marcus walk out, he gathered up some more food and got himself another cup of coffee and returned to his seat. What came next was for the boys and the stalkers. He'd make his way over to the ceremony of graduation at his own leisure, as long as none of the Emperors flunkies comes a looking for him. As he took a seat, he said, Hurry up guys, finish you grub and get your asses in motion, don't leave your brother standing alone outside.
Trust me, I'd be more comfortable if those three touched me less. retorted Aaron as he got up to return his plate and follow Marcus out. There was no doubt that all the female psi stalkers were attractive in their own ways, perhaps unnaturally so, and Aaron was a healthy growing boy after all. But that feeling of unease whenever one of them made physical contact was difficult to shake off.
Cmon V-Man, let's go before they actually ban you from the cafeteria. he said, clapping Viego on the shoulder.
Nolan nods at her statement.
"Still I have a very short time to assess them, and unlike yourselves I cannot simply smell magic. So if it's just the same I would prefer to observe even the boring bits."
Viego nodded at Sarge and Aarons words. Finishing his last bite he managed to say around the bacon. "They aren't so bad, just ... Creepy in the way they flirt and give me mixed messages. I know it's a game but like one I don't know the rules or why they are playing." He shrugs puts his plate away and then joins the other boys outside.
---Nolan---
The women simply nod and make their departure. Nolan assumes that is his que to follow them.
---Marcus, Aaron, and Viego---
All three of the boys head outside and walk over to a set of benches just outside the Cafeteria to wait for the Psi-Stalkers.
---Khayman---
Khayman grabs himself some more bacon and eggs along with another cup of coffee. Luckily he had such a physical profession because the cook in this place was stellar. Hell he had even picked up a few pointers for his own meager cooking skills. If he even got out of the military, (Unlikely but hey, he could dream), he might even be able to open up his own food truck or cafe. One day maybe.

Marcus sat down in a huff, still sorting things out in his head. He was anxious and tense with a mix of worry. Not over how they would perform really, he knew they would excel at that, but over Lyn. He should just put her out of his head. Yes there were other girls out there, but after being with a supermodel who basically taught you everything about women, it was something his brain had a hard time getting around. He wasn't like Viego who snuck off into the city for parties and girls. Was Lyn even like a human woman? I mean the women here were all scientist and guards. Granted they flirted with Marcus from time to time, but Lyn was …direct. Very direct. Well - they were all direct, but Hopefully it didn't get them in trouble with that officer this time. They had gotten in trouble before and were punished rather harshly for it. That had almost made him want to tear the place down, and he might have had Sarge not calmed him down. After so many years, Kora felt like his mother, Meris felt like his sister, and Lyn ….Well - she definitely wasn't either of those, but still.
When his brothers showed up, (Yes, he saw Viego as a brother, regardless of blood), he gave them a solemn nod and made sure they had space on the bench to sit if they felt like it.
Viego walked up, to see Marcus deep in thought on the bench. He could not help but grin. Marcus was seen as perfect by well everyone. Viego heard it all the time when people didn't think he was listening, especially when he was practicing with his pisionic invisibility. Still he knew his brother was very self conscious of it, and Marcus was just Marcus.
"Think after graduation, we might have to move to a new deployment area?" Viego asks unsure how he felt about it.
Viego stood he had too much nervous energy to sit still and he knew he wanted to stand. As he stood there he wondered if he could, or should go out to celebrate tonight. There was usually a great rave or something going on in the Burbs if you knew where to look.
