Marcus watches as Viego hits the creature with energy attacks.  He wasn't sure what the thing was trying to do, but it probably wasn't good.  Like Viego, maybe this thing could fire energy bolts or perform some kind of psionic or magical attack. Like the ones they had seen in the training vids.

Regardless Marcus leapt forward once Viego's attack was cleared and tried to knock the creature off balance.  With luck he would kill the thing, a worst he hoped to fuck up it's concentration on whatever attack it was trying.

(Actions - 1 action to rush up to the enemy in order to close the distance, 3 actions for 3 full strength punches, Holding onto 1 action.)

Viego sends a blast of fire first as he moves to avoid whatever the creature is going to do.  Everyone has been trained to recognize a spell when it is being cast, so this doesn't surprise anyone that things have escalated.  Still the blast of fire hits the man and the fire billows over him as though an invisible bubble surrounded the man.  When Lightning hit the same invisible bubble, it sparked off, completely deflected to blast into the nearby wall of a house.  The wall blasts into splinters but the being itself seems utterly undaunted.

Marcus lunges forward with almost mind boggling speed, so much so that his body almost blurs to the naked eye. He rushes up and slams his fists at the being, his strikes making contact with the now apparent shield that protects the adversary.  Shockwaves or dirt and rubble erupt from the shield's base as the force from Marcus' blows are deflected. His first hit sends fine glowing crack lines spreading out making the things shield visible. When Marcus' final hit strikes the impact booms like thunder and bits of glowing shield explodes like a breaking glass bubble.

The creature raises an eyebrow in complete shock and his concentration is broken. "That was unexpected." He then punches Marcus in return.

Attack: 1d20+6 = 12

(DM - Marcus you can attempt to dodge or take the hit.)
Marcus tries to sidestep the man's punch.

Dodge: 1d20+8 = 22
---Everyone---

The creature throws a full bodied punch at Marcus, but Marcus with his combat training easily dodges the punch. The force of the creatures punch is so potent that the wind rushes with the attempt. Still, seeing Marcus do something similar, it easy enough to tell that Marcus has more strength.

(DM - Everyone left, post up your actions. Bear in mind, the creature probably has more actions as he has only used 2.)

Three rounds ripped free of the Master Sergeants pistol, as he readied a defensive reply should the creature launch an attack his way.

(Action 4) Holding defensive action.
Vigeo moves to get a better shot so he isn't going to cross fire his friends. He pushes again and hurls a bolt of lightning at the creepy-fucking-demon-emo-dud. At the least I can be a distraction he thought as he had watched Marcus go toe to toe the the guy. He prepared himself to be able to get in melee with creepy fucker as this went on to back up Marcus. The sound of that didn't even echo in his head right. Marcus needing melee backup... "Fuck!" He said in his best impression of Sarge.

Breath Weapon Lightning: 1d20+7= 17
BW Lightning MD: 4d6 = 17 MD
Aaron couldn't help but crack a grim smile as Marcus' nuclear punch managed to shake the smug bastard's composure. His brother could quite literally stand toe to toe with a Glitter Boy so it wasn't surprising to see someone react like that. Still, the fact that the mysterious stranger could deflect such an attack meant that they could not let their guard down.

Aaron narrowed his eyes and focused on the man while he was distracted, analyzing his physical structure and attempting to cloud his eyesight with several layers of cataracts. All this talk about clay and sculptors was just bullshit; at the end of the day, everyone was just meat. And meat bleeds.

Khayman fired off several rounds into the creature. The first one hits, the second one misses, and the third one hits again. The creature didn't even try to dodge as the bullets hit it causing dark pools of shadow to weal up like blood. Still, despite the apparent damage to it, it seems utterly unbothered by the attack.

Viego fires another bolt of lighting at the being, but being flicks his hand up and bats the energy away as though swatting away a balled up piece of papper.  The blast deflects harmlessly into the sky above the fight.

Aaron tries to read the creature to get a gauge of his power, but the ability is effectively blocked somehow. This is pretty strange as he has never encountered something that could block or disrupt his readings. The next power he tried, he could feel the thing resist it and it went so far as to shoot him a smug look.

Both of Nolan's spells seem to have no effect on the being, earning Nolan a quick glance from the thing and smirk. His fires off a round from his pistol and like Khayman's rounds, hits the thing in the chest. Though again, it seems unbothered even when it's shadowy blood pools across it's shirt.

Great Old One's Initiative: 1d20+10 = 29

(DM - Everyone roll Initiative for the new round.)
