"No Aaron. Our objective is not to leave. We are staying in the town and taking the fight to the puppet master. Just we are not going to behave and head into their ambuscade.""

"Now do as your Sergeant ordered and drop the 'body armour'.  He's safer lying in this alley than on your shoulder where he's likely to catch a bullet. It wasn't concern for his weight that was at issue.  He has no intelligence value, so the safest thing for him is to leave him the fuck outta the fight. "
Oh. Well, if we're still sticking around for a meet-and-greet... Aaron did as instructed and stuck the unconscious man into whatever corner seemed the least likely to get shot at.
Viego nods to the Sarge, and move to cover Marcus. He prepares to blast anything he sees to cover his friend, cracking his neck he smiles. He felt his pulse pounding a bit, and he realized he was excited to get the opportunity to let loose a bit, even if it was against people who were possessed.
Personally, I'd like to get close enough to the APV to get my gear, I feel kind of naked out here. Khayman said, his head on a swivel for signs of trouble.
Vigeo quips over his shoulder at the sarge. "Could always have the ladies bring it around to the north gate and provide a distraction.."
Marcus turns and glances back at his superiors, "So, you want me to move toward the Southern gate we came through and basically send anything in our way into orbit?  Or do you want me to make our own gate after we move back toward the front of the Inn, then directly south to wall? I'm not entirely certain, but it seems those villagers are digging through the Inn for us right now. So we will probably avoid them."
"Our goal should be to find the puppet-master, not exit the town. If we exit the town we are not getting back in without a direct confrontation.  If we take that route, a lot of townsfolk are going to die."

"I know you would all prefer our toys, I would certainly like mine. But they are out of reach."

"Since the bulk of the townsfolk should be at that ambush towards the north, we should radio the ladies and the dog-boys and have them hit the southern gate and see if they can punch their way in, while we double back and move south. Hopefully we can meet in the middle. In the meantime we arm oirselves with the weapons of whomever we face in our punch through their lines."

"Aaron how long does your invisibility last? Can you scout ahead by 50 yards or so?"
Like a second skin, sir. No time limit. Aaron responded crisply, turning invisible as he did so (those with invisibility detection see a faint shimmer of air around him like heat emanating from a sidewalk on a summer day.

I'll scout ahead then.
Marcus raised an eyebrow, "Oh, okay. So we are wanting to draw this thing out then."  Marcus cracked his knuckles and nodded.

"We still trying to limit civilian casualties sir? In direct confrontations I mean or if they present themselves in our direct line of attack are we putting them down?" The young man asked this not in a tone that said he was hoping for that, but in a tone that was slightly worried about hurting innocent towns people.  Still, if they were directly trying to kill them, he didn't see another way.  Even he could be overwhelmed if caught in a bad sitaution.
---Aaron---

(DM -  Let me know when you're using invisibility and roll Perception as you scout ahead.)
