---Arius and Nightingale---

Arius slips down the rope like a pro.  For a nobleman it seems as though he had done this sort of thing a few times before and grown somewhat accustom to it.

Nightingale makes it down the rope with relative ease, though she is a bit careful in her decent.

---Mourn, Lovise and Leloth---

Both Mourn and Lovise make it down the rope, though it's obvious they are not familiar with such activities. It slow going for the most part, but they do make it to the bottom without much issue.

Leloth goes a bit easier down the rope than the other two, but she still moves slowly and carefully.  Again, it's easy to see this is not something the tiefling is used to doing.

Mourn's Athletic Check: 1d20+6 = 10 - Succeeded
Lovise's Athletic Check: 1d20+1 = 12 - Succeeded
Leloth's Athletic Check: 1d20+1 = 13 - Succeeded

---Kriv---

Kriv slides down the rope for several feet as he nearly falls but manages to grab it tightly again.  Holding it too himself he clings for dear life while looking at a fall that even he likely wouldn't survive.

---Aethos---

(DM - Roll Perception again as you are busy looking over the goblin script.)
Perception Check: 1d20+6 = 11
---Athos---

Athos hears a grunt and the rope where it's tied suddenly jerks as though something hit it or snapped it.  The top portion remains tied to the column though.

---Everyone Else---

As everyone reaches the bottom they look back up to see Kriv slipping off the rope and falling several feet before catching it again.  Everyone is quite certain that unless the Dragonborn has hidden wings somewhere under his cloak, that fall could easily kill him.

(DM - Athos and someone at the bottom can hold the rope steady to aid Kriv on his decent.  If one of you at the bottom chooses to assist, (Basically the first one to post) Roll Athletics checks.  Each person to succeed will give him a +2 circumstance bonus on his next climb attempt.)
Arius quickly sets his lantern down. He grabs the rope to steady it for Kriv.

"Just pretend it's a bedsheet and the street is only two stories down. Worked for me."

Athletics [1d20+4] = 5+4 = 9
Nightingale sighs and tries to grab the swaying rope to steady it.

Athletics: 1d20+3 6

OOC: Oops, not looking good Sad
Athos tries to help steady the rope, but he is simply not strong enough to help with the dragonborn's weight.

Athletic Check: 1d20+2 = 8
---Kriv---

The others struggle to help Kriv by steadying the rope, but their efforts are in vain as he jerks about on his decent.  Trying to steady himself he makes another attempt and getting his feet on solid ground.

(DM - Make another Athletics check to descend.)
Athletics: 1d20+2=17

"Oh my.." The dragonborn wizard grumbles as he tries to control the decent of his bulky form.
---Everyone---

The large Dragonborne manages to work his way down the rope.  Breathing hard he lands safely on the decrepit stone floor.

---Athos---

(DM - Roll Athletics to make your way down the rope to the others.)
Athos struggles a bit down the rope, but hopefully makes it to the bottom with just a little bit of effort.

Athletic Check: 1d20+2 = 10
