Happs just shrugs again, slipping his bow into hand and grabbing an arrow, but directing it forward, away from the rest of you. He knows he's on thin ice and isn't very interested in getting himself killed. If you all follow, his movements are nearly as silent as he is. Back to the East, the path opens up a little into a (comparatively) larger cave. The wet-looking floor is crisscrossed by several shallow trenches, each containing trickles of putrid-looking fluid. Six foul mounds of compost and dung lie heaped about the room, each studded with small, spherical eggs. Apart from the rancid odor is a truly foul stench that wafts towards you from further on in the cave. Happs stops and narrows his eyes as if he sees something, nocking his arrow and sweeping from left to right as if searching for something. There is a soft hiss from deeper in the cave.
