Giant wades into the debris and mobilises the (otherwise immobile) dried-up corpses to the best of his ability. They don't seem to be animated and accept the punishment without a word of complaint.
"What in the Nine Hells are you doing?" Lugar gives a quizical look at the proactive corpse smashers. Then he shrugs and begins swinging his pick like a golf club at any spare skeletal heads that look at him the wrong way, which they all do. Afterwards he takes the time to look for valuables.
Ooc ( do any of the bodies resemble Sirrith in armor or insignia?)
I have finished with semi-mummies. - he says with great satisfaction - Now it's safe to examine the loot. - he helps Lugar identifying the weapons and armors
Merri rolls her eyes behind the group as they defile the corpses. "My heroes," she says dryly.
OOC - which "two" members did you mean? it was just Giant who went in with all his fury... which is acceptable considering his background
"Indeed," Maul is quick to agree the elven lass, shaking his head on the warriors in front.
"May Pelor put their souls back to rest."
Lugar etched Sirrith's insignia well into his mind; it was a greek cross; the upper part decorated with a set of grey triangles with white top and the lower part decorated with a white wolf's head. Among the debris he finds some fragments that resemble that particular badge, may as well be the same. However, there are so many pieces they are probably not from the same set of arms and armor. It's more like everyone around here had the same badge.
As the result of some lengthy search the party recovers two pieces of equipment that seem to be suspiciously intact; one is a round metal shield, the other one is the head of a polearm; glaive by the looks of it; but the shaft is nowhere to be found. Their dull black surface is completely free of rust. Yes, these are made of adamantine.
(Par for the course isn't necessarily acceptable.
)
Merri looks over the findings but shows no interest in either. She wasn't in the habit of carrying shields and
nobody used glaives. She was fairly certain that the vast variety in badly-weighted pole-axes was a huge prank that nobody got.
Ooc (corrected last statement, thought Maul went in to join Giant...)
Lugar picks up the glaive blade and says, "this could make a good kitchen cleaver or long knife, we best hang on to this." Then, seeing the looks on Merri's and Maul's faces, Lugar says, "he started it," pointing at Giant. If a Duergar ever blushed red from embarrassment Lugar certainly looked that way now. "Besides, they were probably undead-rock-eaters. Duergar have tales of those foul monsters that can bring down entire halls by devouring the stone with their cursed breath... It's true!"
Maul seems to be completely lacking interest in duergar tales or high-nosed elves looking down on weaponry, but it's not like he didn't care; it's like he knew these topics better than those two.

"Nothing more we can do here." Lugar heads off down the hall towards the next corridor, pick at the ready.
