As a GM, I gave up chasing players a long time ago. All that effort could be put towards the players that are actively involved. They are either in a real tight spot or just don't care. I'll fit them back in if I'm able on the rare occasion players return. It happens far too often for me to take it badly. It's a symptom of the format.
As far as my character is concerned, I just want to be where the action is. Callista's slight stature and youthful looks make it easy for her to adopt the victim look and attract the wrong kind of attention and then kick it in the dick.
I'll be away this weekend and most likely unable to post.
Without going into the details of my family life, I feel I should inform you why there's such a delay in my posting. All my books, all my files, my notes for this game and others have been effectively erased. I have a MacBook and my teenage daughter that hates the world did something to my computer and I'm locked out. Now I have to take into the store to fix it. Teenagers....
I understand. Having gone through a teenage girl and boy, I'm so happy that the last one is also a boy. Oh the drama. She killed two of my computers with malware by clicking every pop up with 'free' shit. One I had to wipe completely and start from scratch. The other I was able to salvage. The best advice I can give is to be patient and consistent. They get better. Also be aware of who she communicates with. We had a pedophile try and lure her out. Fortunately he was on the other side of the country from us. We were totally taken by surprise, and I was in law enforcement at the time. Hope things go well for you guys.
So I've been reading through the Saga book again and realized I had a few mistakes in my sheet. I keep forgetting it's not exactly D20 any more. It's all good now. Can't wait until level 6 when I pick up the whirlwind feat. That will be fun.
Just when Long gets control of the ship. the game dies?
Nerdred? you alive? Haven't seen you posting in other games either.
I sent Nerdred an E-mail asking if he still plans to continue DMing and Playing. Hopefully he returns soon.
Just dropping in to post the admin activity warning. With no notice or update from the Game Moderator we give threads six months from this post date before we delete the game. We only save games that have been completed. So that means within the next 6 months, the DM needs to give us an update, return, or another player needs to take over as DM.
If none of the above occurs make sure any active players save any of their stories, character ideas or whatever within the allotted time. It will be unrecoverable after deletion.
