Welcome! So far there's only 3 of us with characters, and still in the process of creation.  We have a Cavalier, Theif/Magic User, and a Fighter/Cleric.

Cool.  I was thinking of going straight class magic user or Druid.  Would make me 6th level.   How do we access a dice roller here?  I can’t figure it out.

Welcome!

We are currently using, The Unseen Servant.

You must add a character name and then click on it from the drop down menu on the left side of where you imput your Syntax.  If you don't the DM will have no way of going back to check your rolls.  My suggestion is to use the Syntax:

Stat #: [1d6r2], [1d6r2], [1d6r2], [1d6r2]

Do this 7 times and disregard the lowest number out of the 7 stats you rolled.

ok, here are my rolls:

Stat #1: [1d6r2] = 4, [1d6r2] = 5, [1d6r2] = 2, [1d6r2] = 6
Stat #2: [1d6r2] = 2, [1d6r2] = 3, [1d6r2] = 5, [1d6r2] = 4
Stat #3: [1d6r2] = 4, [1d6r2] = 5, [1d6r2] = 5, [1d6r2] = 6
Stat #4: [1d6r2] = 2, [1d6r2] = 3, [1d6r2] = 5, [1d6r2] = 4
Stat #5: [1d6r2] = 2, [1d6r2] = 4, [1d6r2] = 3, [1d6r2] = 3
Stat #6: [1d6r2] = 6, [1d6r2] = 3, [1d6r2] = 2, [1d6r2] = 2
Stat #7: [1d6r2] = 2, [1d6r2] = 4, [1d6r2] = 3, [1d6r2] = 4

So I got 10, 11, 11, 12, 12, 15, 16

Guess we get no re-rolls? Do we put them in order we want or order listed?

The 7th roll was the reroll.   Tongue

We need to show our rolls here.  You can do that by simply either copy and pasting the web page of the results into this window.  Or the fancier way is to highlight what you've typed, then click on the tiny "chain link" button at the top of this window (it's beside the "envelope" button) and then paste the link in the URL box and then click "Insert".

You can place them in whatever order you would like and you can minus 2 from one ability score, to add 1 to another ability score.

Edit: Figured it out, here are my rolls:

http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...49&macid=0 stat1 Strength 15
http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...50&macid=0 stat2 Dexterity 12
http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...51&macid=0 stat3 Constitution 16
http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...52&macid=0 stat4 Intelligence 12
http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...53&macid=0 stat5 Wisdom 10
http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...54&macid=0 stat6 Charisma 11
http://www.unseenservant.com/default.asp...55&macid=0 stat7 Reroll= 11

Guess I'll be a straight class fighter. With permission, I will take 2 points from Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma and put them in strength to roll Percentile.

I would be: Strength 18/**
Dexterity 12
Constitution 16
Intelligence 10
Wisdom 9 (Was 10, put my reroll here making it an 11)
Charisma 9

If This is ok, I will roll percentile dice. Making a straight class fighter.

Awesome! Welcome aboard. Thanks for the assist, Marvel.

Those stats are pretty bad. I'll have to peek at the rest and see if you deserve a mulligan.

Thanks for having me.

Home today with a sick daughter.  Have plenty of time today and this weekend to get a character,  background, and description and be ready.  Excited to play!

Just let me know if I get a mulligan to reroll or I’ll roll percentile for strength.

EDIT: I rolled out of curiosity a D100 to see what percentile strength I would have. Rolled a 77 if this character is to stay a fighter and not get a re roll.

I'm cool with a reroll though. Would like to play a wizard or druid potentially, and a wizard with hopefully better spell rolls would help the party. What do you all think?

I have a question about multi-classed clerics and weapons.  In the players handbook PC elves weren't allow to be clerics.  But in the description for half-elves it says: "Half-elven characters who choose the cleric as one of their multi-classes aren't limited by that class' proscriptions upon weapons usable"  Then in the Half-Orc description it says: "When playing a multi-classed character, the half-orc must abide by the restrictions of the least favorable class with regard only to armor."

So my question is, are Elves limited to the cleric's weapons when multi-classing.  I've looked online for 1st edition and people seem to believe they aren't limited.  Also still curious about your ruling on specialization and multi-class.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
