OOC - Toot wrote a Tootish note on what I meant to Merri's eyes only and you reacted on that. Meanwhile Merri revealed some of her findings, so that's not spoiler anymore.
OOC - noted. Please update the number of charges remaining in the equipment section of your sheet, like, "42/50". For charged items with unknown number charges, though, you should write used charges, like, "8/? used"

Boo seems to be distracted, possibly by fish, at least he growls a kind of affirmative to Portho and Toot also has a feeling that it's something "ordinary" he found, but the racial habit of distrust prevails and the doodid looks around in an inquisitive way. The lake seems to be unlikely clear for being a temporary stop of running water, and dozens of stars seem to shine from its bottom. Still, everything seems to be just the same as it looks. Except Giant, who becomes partially translucent, as if his presence would be intermittently nullified by some magical force. The others, however, seem to be very much real, just like that elflike creature, not an inch higher than Toot, slitting the bottom of Merri's component pouch with a slender sword. As he reaches inside, tongue sticking out in deep concentration, his eyes meet Toot's.

Apparently the others, Merri included, haven't even noticed him yet which is a feat indeed, considering how wildly colourful an attire the tiny creature has, crying out loudly from the surrounding land of green.

Roll for initiative! (surprise round for Toot and the tiny elf, then everyone else follows).
[OoC1: Initiative: 1d20+3 = 17]

[OoC2: Knowledge Nature: 30; (animals, fey, giants, monstrous humanoids, plants, seasons and cycles, weather, vermin)]

Quote:Action: For knowledge skills

Usually none. In most cases, making a Knowledge check doesn’t take an action—you simply know the answer or you don’t.
Toot considers all Jermlaine and Landgrave lore ever heard and decides that this thing is definitely some kind of fey never heard of, or, more likely, a camouflaged grig.

He just stands there, with rooted legs.

(OOC: Toot's first! action?)
[OoC: Crap... lost my original post.  Angry  ]

For a split second Toot's instincts nearly guide his actions.  There was a part of him that wanted to harm this creature.  Pull its legs and wings off one by one and maybe even taste him to see if he tastes like grasshopper too.  But his [Huge] will power and Landgrave's teachings overcome those instincts.

"Not harm if Grig no move!" Toot says calmly, showing no hint at aggression.  If the Grig attempts to do anything aggressive or tries to escape, Toot furrows he brow and charges at the creature.

[Surprise round: Partial Charge (move up to his max move but not x2 move); Move 40'; +2 to attack to initiate a touch attack]

[OoC2:  It looks like the Flatfooted AC is wrong for the Grig.  I don't see it has the Uncanny Dodge ability so shouldn't he lose his dex bonus while flatfooted?]
(He is only flatfooted if you attack before his turn comes up in the initiative.)

Merri's jaw drops in surprise when she spots the little filcher and takes a step back away from him. (5 ft step.)
"Don't believe you," the elf replies and transforms to a Toot-sized cricket in an instant. Before he could get away though, Toot charges!
(Pls roll. If you plan to grapple then his aoo fails and his opposed grapple check is 9 so you may write immediately if you succeeded or not.)
[OoC: Doesn't Toot interrupt the Grig turning into a Toot-sized cricket? ]

Toot dives onto the Grig... maybe...

[Attack: 14 ]

[Opposed Grapple: [1d20 - Base6 - 3str - 2size: 16!] [The Grig got a 9!  Grigs get a -11 grapple so that means he rolled a 20 and I still beat him Tongue !
Ooc - grapple is -8 size, isn't it? And this is no ordinary grig with +8 dex mod and impr.initiative...

Toot dives onto the fey surprisingly fiercely but his speed is no match for the cricket's celerity! one hop -- and by the time Toot bumps into Merri's knee the creature is gone.

It takes a second to readjust for everyone but a high voice finally tells where he went. The sound may be giggling or crying, hard to tell.

"Myshnue is hungry! Smells spicy food! No harm!"

Ooc - party's turn.
