Torin goes in to the front of the door and says:
- Let's ready for the dance. Push the button!
I put you both in front of the door side by side but please specify your position on Torin's map if you mean otherwise.
The button is on the right side (F13 on this side of the door; E12 on the other side)
Torin step to position: E12 (I did not check the map).
I mean *before* opening the door. If you don't have access to google sheets at the moment here's a quick ascii art of the door's immediate vicinity with your current positions included:

i.e. the door is thick enough to fill half of rows 12 and 13. You can step really close to the door but don't have sufficient space for combat unless the door is open, or you are tiny or smaller.
You can step on any of the dots (those are placeholders cause multiple spaces are collapsed into one on this forum)
Sorry my mistake. E14 because Portho will push the button. (I corrected the map.)
To be more exact... Torin expects him to push it... Smile
[OoC apparently my post yesterday didn't go through, trying again]

portho moves into position by the button, after setting his continual flame torch on the ground just by the door so his hands are free. Donning his buckler and readyying his sword he beguns to recite a rousubg oration of one of the great battles of the dwarven heroes of Phalorm, the now Fallen Kingdom of men, dwarves, elves, and gnomes that once ruled these very lands over four centuries ago.

[Bardic Music: Inspire Courage - +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 morale bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. It is a standard action to start but a free action to maintains, so better to start BEFORE pushing the button.]

As he recites the epic poem he strains up to push the buttpn.
As the stone door rises the two spot a vast amount of webbing on the far side. Apparently, the current inhabitant was busy all the time since its imprisonment and is now invisible beyond the concealment impenetrable for eyes both dwarven and gnomish..

Roll for initiative!
[ rolling d20+1 Initiative (13)+1= 14]
It's Portho's turn.
