Benji switched gears and went on the offensive, instead of merely being offensive. The illusory wall wouldn't hold the two uglies at bay for too long, unless they were complete dum dums, and as such the current number of baddies needed to be whittled down as fast as possible.

A crackle of electricity sparked between his clawed fingers, which then bolted over Eloric and Robsen's heads, hitting the aberration on the steps before arcing downwards to strike the foe sandwiched between Khayman and Cutter. Benji then threw up a protective barrier again.

Action 1+2: electric arc 1: 3d4+1 7 targetting Robsen's foe
electric arc 2: 3d4+1 10 targeting foe flanked by Khayman and Cutter
Action 3: Shield (+1 AC, shield block 5)

(DC 20 reflex on Electric Arc)

"Nooooo!" screams Cade as Aquila gets shredded by whatever these things are.

He always had a knack with animals, something about that specific part of nature he was more attuned with. He drew on this connection now, although weakened in his current form, to aid his new friend.

Nature responded to his call as a pine scented breeze blew into the barn from parts unknown. The raptor breathed deeply and her wounds began to heal, not completely, but more than enough to get back into the fray.

Cade sighed deeply as she began to move then dark anger blazed behind his eyes as he uttered a single command, "Kill."

Aquila leaps to her feet despite her injuries and clamps her jaws around the forearm of one of the stalkers, tearing away flesh as the creature recoiled.

Actions:
Cade:

1st & 2nd: Heal Animal on Aquila. 2d8+16=27 HP restored.
3rd: Command Animal. 2 Actions to Aquila.

Aquila:
1st: Stand
2nd: Strike. 1d20+11=23 Hit. 2d8+3=11 piercing damage.

Eloric noted the uselessness of his last spell and changed tactics.  He fired a bolt of phased mystic energy at the target closest to him. Though the enemy was too close him causing him to misfire the spell.  With mild irritation he decided to psi burst the thing for good measure.

(Action 1 & 2 - Casts Phase Bolt at the target nearest him. Misses.)
(Action 3 - Psi Burst the same target vs Basic Reflex Save.)

Spell Attack Check: 1d20+10 = 12 - Miss!
Psi Burst Damage: 2d4 = 7

Benji caused an arc of blue electricity to dance over Elorics and Robsens heads to touch the Stalker in front of Robsen. It easily dodged the bolt, though it did singe its shoulder. He then directed the bolts to the unhurt stalker that had just attacked Aquila. It erratically flew towards the dino over Cutter's head and the Stalker tried to avoid it, but though he dodged the worst of it, it still caused his skin to darken where it touched. Then he strummed his lute once in a discordant melody and a shield of force appeared between him and the enemies.

Five feet away, Robsen without even a flinch at the creatures transformation the Ranger fired three arrows rapidly. 2 struck. 1 went into the wall. It looked like a pin cushion with all the arrows sticking out of it. ((Heres how I do ammunition. If you hit you can recover them unless it goes over a cliff or into the ocean Wink If you miss they are lost.---I put the tracker in the combat summary))

Khaymen quickly flanked the Stalker between him and cutter and with grace stuck the creature in the back. At least their organs were in the same location. Though he nearly dropped the sword, pulling it from the creatures body.

Merika Moved over and ineffectively swiped at the creature, shaken from their transformation he missed twice.

Eloric fired a phase bolt at the one in front of Robsen, and it dodged it then he tried to Psi Burst it it seemed to have a sixth sense about the attack and avoided it completely. ((Crit save))

Cutter with a flurry of attacks managed to further injure the Stalker between him and Khaymen.

Cade funneled healing energy to his Companion who snapped her eyes open laying on the floor between the two stalkers  and then commanded it to attack and she jumped to her feet and snapped at the one that had stabbed her. ripping its arm open.

The two Stalkers on the other side of the Illusion, the first stood their cocking its head from side to side. The second was doing the same them reached out to cautiously touch the bramble and its arm when into it...It looked at the other and said something in a foul sounding language.

On the Walkway with Robsen, the pincushion tried to grab him with a taloned hand Sinking the claws into his forearm holding the bow then the other grabbed for his shoulder and slashed into him. but the Ranger jerked himself free of its grasp stopping the creatures attempt to hold him still.

The one against the walkway attacked Cutter slashing out with 2 claws trying to grab him. The first slashed across his throat and a gout of blood shot from the Rogues neck. As he dropped to the floor, which caused him to avoid the other two claws slashing out. Cutter lay on the ground bleeding. Chip had jumped from his shoulder as he had before, and trained as he was pulled open Cutters pack and pulled out a healing potion. He started fumbling at the cork.

The Last of the Stalkers had spun on Khaymen and swung his long clawed hand at the Wanderer who avoided most of the slashing claws, but one managed to catch him in the stomach, opening deep furrows as it slashed right through the armor.

Benji saw Cutter drop to the floor and immediately strummed a few magically reinforced chords, sending a surge of healing power through the rogue's battered body and fortifying his mind. Up and at em, friendo! He then started singing...loudly and off-key, a jarring contrast to the melodic twang of his instrument. In between lute riffs he grabbed bits of a leftover sandwich that he had shoved into his pocket earlier and started pelting the aberration next to his lizard-man buddy with it.

Action 1+2: Soothe Rank 2: 2d10+8 22 hp healed on Cutter, +2 vs Mental Effects for 1 min (doesn't stack with inspire courage fear save)
Action 3 + Reaction: Aid Action (attack roll): 1d20+9 12 (Performance roll = 16)
(Merika additional +1 to next attack against nearby Aberration)

Merika sees Cutter go down and feels his anger rising. The bloodlust he fights all the time fills him a bit and for a moment he lets it in to his mind. His first claw swipe as he maintains his wolf stance misses, but he quickly follows up with two more swipes at the creature, and while both hit. It is the second one however he feels it as it slides into the creatures flesh find something vital.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
