I doubt any of those hit.

MW Light Crossbow Attack: [1d20+8]=19+8=27 do that is x2 damage. So that makes 3 more hp of damage, for a total of 6hp from his shot.

In 3.5 light crossbow is 19-20/x2  so yes a x2  crit but triggered on a 19 or 20 not just on a 20. Meaning you should roll to confirm because you could get an extra die of damage.

That's a DM call.  Either is correct depending on the DM.

To confirm you roll the attack roll again to see if yoyu hit. If you hit the critical is confirmed. If this creatuere CAN be crit
