Ningalu shouts to the dwarf. "Fall back to the others. Make them come to us where our friends can aid us!  Do not stand your ground."

Nang uses the wand of anti-Torque on them [standard action], as they fly backward 30 feet [move action]

Nang: Torque check [1d20+5] = 2+5 = 7 - oops

"Ya! Got It!", exclaims Kubo, as he raises his Master Work Light Crossbow and takes a shot at the closest creature to him, befor retreating back to his new friends, Barking, "Ware and ready we got large angry lizard creatures a coming!", at the group. Light Crossbow Attack = [1d20+7] = 10+7 = 17Light Crossbow Damage = [1d8+3] = 1+3 = 4

While Ning flies backward, the torque wand fails causing the energy to surge up the shaft and scorch his hand. [I rolled a whole 2 pts of damage out of 2d6. ]

Kubo gets a shot off with his crossbow which hits one of the creatures in the shoulder.  [Make a Spot check]

The creatures bound after the duo and burst through the wall of foliage in search of their prey but they don't quite reach you this round.

[OoC:  It's not difficult for Selina to hear all the shouting and the foliage rustling and snapping.]

[OoC2: Everyone else should roll Initiative!]

[I will get a map soon.  I completely forgot yesterday.  Confused ]

[OoC: Everyone will need to make spot checks to be able to see them since anything beyond 10' is going to be very difficult to spot with the thick foliage. ]

While Kubo was retreating he noticed his crossbow bolt was pushed out of the wound and almost completely healed!

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
