The guard doesn't seem to care if he understands or not.

When the guards pour in, stunning stragglers then scanning the Bandits' IDs, Nova keeps her cool... and her volume low.

As Rahullu answers the guard and Veir translates, Nova suddenly has an idea. If rumor of a Jedi prisoner had already reached the rebellion, the prison staff would also have to be well aware of what they (potentially) held in captivity, no?
Although this guard had just lost a lot of credits, Nova was willing to bet that he'd be interested in a Wookiee vs. Jedi Battle Royale. Still, she knew she had to play it subtle, without really revealing their hand.
Nova tries to see if there's anything especially memorable about the fellow addressing Rahullu, anything that would help her recognize him next time. Maybe a badge number or arm band designation? Hell, even a distinctive voice?
Then Nova shouts at their professed gambler, "Guard! I know how you could win it all back — and then some. Double or nothing. Triple even. Pit my Wookiee friend here against a real challenge. Someone special."

The guard is wearing riot gear. He is no more memorable than any of the others. He either doesn't hear or doesn't care. Maybe he realizes acknowledging betting on prisoner brawls isn't the smartest career move.

The jawa seeing the other prisoners do the floor thing jumps down and follows suit though she's back under the table. no sense in making it too easy on them.
She waits till they leave and then sits up and tries to calm herself and uses Life sense to try and detect any force sensatives. [2d6] = 9 Life Sense Life sense is very easy and since shes basically looking for it in the lunch area she should have made it if the guys in general population.

Jendu does what he's told and doesn't make any waves. He would rather use his tongue than his brawn but these guys were pissed off and not likely to listen to anything right now.
When the guard mentions the bet, Jendu replies in a very non-confrontational tone, "Might I suggest letting us in on the plan next time." When Nova mentions pitting the Wookie against a real challenge, Jendu replies, "Maybe they get paid too well here. He obviously isn't interested in making his money back and then some. And even though a bunch of dirty prisoners made him lose his bet and made him look silly, it's not like his buddies will rake him over the coals for losing --most likely-- again. He has nothing to prove, right?" [OoC: If I can help Nova's con, I will. My Con Roll is [4d6]=14 ]

Tiktuk gets nothing. It leads her to wonder if he is even there or if he is capable of hiding himself.
After everyone is just about done eating, again, the PA system crackles to life and orders everyone to line up for work. Most inmates stop whatever they are doing and form a line at the far door. Only one inmate is left in a far cell once the line up is done, an old man who looks half asleep. Nobody seems to bother with him, even when the guards come in to guide the line of inmates out and ensure nobody is left behind. The train takes the group through the door and down another hallway to the left of a four-way. They are marched down the hall through another door that opens up into a factory. Everyone is given a work station to attend to. A guard quickly explains what it is that they do. It's quite simple as any fool can do it. They are merely implanting serialized chips into circuit boards for ship transponders. Nova sighed quietly, as the guard seemed able to fend off such finely-pitched words from both herself and Jendu. She was certain that their gambling man had heard her though. Maybe something would stick in his brain that would be of later use to the Bandits. Maybe not. Either way, once the guards had departed and the inmates got back to their feet, Nova winked at Rahullu, "Hell, it was worth a shot."
As the PA system summoned them to their work duties, Nova narrowed her eyes at the sluggish, dozing old man who appeared to be left alone — and left behind? She turned to her comrades, indicating him with a nod of her head and a raise of the eyebrows. Although he may prove to be another false lead, Nova would try to keep track of him nonetheless. [OOC: Wake up, prisoner Mac Guffin! ;-) Rise and shine, inmate Red H. Erring!]
While they were being herded into the train, Nova walked alongside Tiktuk for a bit, before leaning down and gesturing at the Jawa with her by-now-familar — and perhaps annoying — spirit fingers. "Anything?"
Upon arrival at the factory and then at her workstation, Nova picked up a circuit board and smiled, what with all their earlier efforts to alter the ship transponder. "I guess we should've gotten thrown in prison earlier."
Nova carefully scans her surroundings for anything that appears odd or unusual, and maybe even for what might make a good shiv, as well as who looks shifty, while making earlier note of how the train controls might be accessed — just in case the Bandits somehow find themselves having to commandeer it in grand style!
