A Rude Awakening

Benji moved a few steps down the walkway and then fired off that familiar arc of electricity. The first saw it and ducked underneath it, though it still burnt his skin to a degree. The Second though did not see it coming.

Robsen spun and looked down on the barn floor firing three arrows into the more injured stalker. It was wavering on his feet when he was done.

Khaymen tried to timble into an advantageous position but twisted the wrong way and his blades hit nothing but empty air.

Merica rose to his feet and unsteady as he was, missed finishing off the wavering Stalker

Repeating his earlier actions Khaymen felt a calm come over him as some of his wounds healed, then he focused on causing mental damage to the Stalker the roguish warrior faced The creature looked stunned and grabbed his head...resisting, but it was enough to cause his brain to have an aneurysm and The Stalker fell to the ground.

Cutter followed the Stalker and stuck him in the back with his rapier.

Cade caused a vine to erupt from the ground wrapping around the creature to slow it and quickly moved away. Aquila without a command moved into positon to kill the Stalker hunting as a pack animal does., moving into flanking.

The Last Stalker turned to face the last one to hit him ...Cutter and struck out three times. Claw and Claw first hoping to get ahold of the slippery elf. but failed, only 1 hit...so it struck out with a third, which cutter avoided as well.  The one claw pierced Cutters arm and shoulder.

Cutter feels the claw pierce his arm, and again he try's to tumble threw the creature's square, and again he draws the creature into a blocking position. This time however the lethal elf leaps into the air and thrust forward at the same time his rapier driving right into the creatures eye. The creature blinks around the steal sword then twitches one time and falls to the ground dead.. Cutter strides to the barn door cracks just enough for the little monkey to squeeze through. whispering the command scout softly to his familiar then places his tiny partner on the ground. then turning to the rest he says lets heal up what we can and get the hell out of here begore you know who comes back. 

Chip slips from the barn staying in shadows when he can the tiny monkey looks for any threats around the barn before slip back inside the bard to report to his master.

Looking around the barn as the last stalker fell, Khayman sighed and looked down at himself. In his old body, he could have simply called upon the Lord of Battles, but now, he felt no affinity to any deity. So kneeling, he rummaged through his backpack and came up with a medicine bag. Grumbling to himself, It's been too damned long, he said, then looked around. One of you help an old man out, my fingers aren't working correctly to treat these wounds.

Robsen seeing the last stalker fall turns and quickly retrieves his spent arrows from the stalker corpes, and then attends Khayman to see how he can assist.

It doesnt take long for Cutter to finish off the last Stalker Then the party relaxes a little. Robsen goes and starts plucking arrows out of bodies, knowing he can refill his quiver from the broken ones from the Stalker that had a bow. 

Eloric moves to examine the Faceless Stalker ((DC 19 Occult Recall Knowledge to learn what they are. After learning what they are...Lore check of 17 to know general information. and 14 for specific questions))

Benji every curious accompanies Eloric. 

Cutter moves to the barn door and slides it open sending Chip out side...seeing rolling hills and farmlands Khaymen moves over beside Cutter.

Aquila moves to Cade and checks in with her friend. While Cade checks over Aquila's wounds.

Merika decides to see if the Stalkers are tasty...and decides quickly they arent.

When Cutters little scout reports back that no other guards are present, Cutter  turns to the group. Hey Benji you said they grabbed you right out side this barn, could you come over and here I got a couple questions for you. Cutter waits for the bard to approach, when he does Cutter pushes the door open before asking. So Little Dragon which way to the closest town.

Eloric examines one of the dead creatures they had just faced. Over the years he had collected a decent repertoire of undead, but he had rarely encountered other types of creatures in the Dark Lands.  Granted he had read about various things in his masters old volumes, so he searched his knowledge to see if anything from his masters old tomes stood out.

Benji surveyed the battlefield, strewn with the bodies of their enemies and grunted in satisfaction at the group's first victory. The cycle of life and death continues; we will live, they will die! Benji exclaimed in a deep voice and surprisingly eloquent manner, then shifted back to his normal casual mode of speech. You all tough biscuits for sure; Benji will make great heroes out of you yet! The kobold cackled as he wandered over to one of the fallen aberration and examined the ugly bastard up close. Unfortunately nothing familiar jumped out at him; Benji gave Eloric an apologetic shrug then moved over to Cutter.

Occult Knowledge: 1d20+7 17

The copper kobold took a deep breath and grinned as the first wave of fresh outside air hit his nostrils, a magnificent perfume compared to the dung-infested air of the barn. He eyed the rogue's battered body, and glanced over to the rest of his comrades as well. Wait friendo. You looks like you gots caught between two mating owlbears. So do the others. Won't survive angry grandma's broomstick, much less another fight.

Benji started chanting something in Draconic, and Cutter could feel his wounds stitching together with every syllable uttered. Once finished, Benji opened his eyes and nodded. Red Robe Wizard already has us tangled up in his Big Brain Plan, no needs to rush out yet. You lets Doctor Benji close some wounds for you and friends, yeah? Then I puts on the guide hat.

Robsen will collect 7 arrows from the stalker that was an Archer to replace the 7 he broke in combat with the stalker on the stairs. He will then go to the barn doors and see if he can find any tracks or trail signs outside the barn that the group should be concerned with. Robsen tells Cutter, "I can see if there is any trail signs or tracks that could warn us of any further ambushes in the area outside this barn!".

Merika looks around to see if he can find any food to eat. Fighting made him hungry, as did bleeding, and if he was honest most things.
