A Rude Awakening
upon seeing Khayman exit the house, Robsen will leave his hiding place and make his way to the barn, to find out there next agreed upon actions., and get some more healing if possible.

As the trio walk back into the barn Cutter says, Alright Benji how much longer do you need to heal up us three. after hearing the little scaly bards reply Cutter continues. So everybody gather round Benji take us to school while we wait to be healed. Fill us in everything you know about this Sand Point you say is the closest town. Cutter sits down in the hay all ears, in his present situation he knows nothing about everything and any knowledge could potentially save his life some time down the road.

Oh! You back! Benji exclaimed. He had finished tending to those in the barn and was in the middle of re-focusing his mental energies when the scouting party returned. The kobold squinted at the three remaining wounded. Hmm, you don't looks like pre-chewed ogre breakfast anymore so...maybe 30 minutes? You sit, have water, some treatos. Benji shares his wisdom with new friends, yessss.

Never beens to Sandpoint before either, so we gonna makes grand entrance together! Benji pulled out some maps, papers and other miscellaneous items relating to Sandpoint that he had collected for his journey and shared what he knew with the group (including the letter from the High Priest), as he finished up the last rounds of healing.

Eloric strolled back into barn with an armful of goodies from the kitchen. A little prestidigitation always gave nice aid to finding the wine and cups if they were still in Benji's marvelous little bag of holding. He admitted softly as he admired the wondrous little item, "I've always wanted one of these."  He proceeded to pull out the bottle of wine and pour himself and Benji a cup.

The psion then makes two excellent sandwiches for himself and Benji, while he listened to the scalley little fellow explain about this new realm they were in. Of course he poured a glass of wine and sliced up a nice sandwich from anyone else who asked as well.

Robsen gratefully excepts a sandwich from Eloric, and crouches down to eat it while patiently awaiting Benji's healing administration's.

Merika happily takes a sandwich, and eats it with enthusiasm. He is well aware he has fangs, but forgets that it might disturb creatures that don't have them to see him eat as such. Having been healed the lizardman is in a better mood. He waits to hear what the others might decide to do. Merika isn't concerned really, he figures their odds are better as a group than alone.

Cade was fussing over the feathered dinosaur for some time, checking her wounds over and generally acting like a worried parent. "Who's a good girl? You're a good girl, yes you are!" the others could hear as he scratched under her chin to which she reciprocated with a low rumbling, almost purring like sound. "Won't be a moment."

He gathered up some dirt and mud from the ground and muttered a few words entreating the primal world to aid him with it's life energy. He then set to work lathering the mixture over his own cuts and scraps, soothing himself back into the natural order as he did.

"There, that's a bit better. Now you did so well girl, you'll need a name." Cade said matter-of-factly as he walked around her, inspecting her once again. As he did he called on his bond with the natural world he had just replenished to heal her once more and her slashes healed before their eyes. "You've got some very pointy teeth there, and your claws are no joke either." the druid commented and the dinosaur snapped her mouth, her large fangs glistening with drips of stalker blood, someone seeming to understand him. "And we worked very well back there, so you're no slouch in a pinch." the halfling rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he mulled something over in his mind. "I know! Aquila! How does that suit you?" he asked the raptor before leaning in to whisper loudly "It means sharp."

The dinosaur's long tail whipped from side to side enthusiastically and she almost seemed to nod in agreement.

"It's settled then. Aquila, welcome to my destiny!" Cade hugged her around her neck which she lowered to oblige him.

As Cutter, Khayman and Robsen return the halfling beams at Benji. "I can help with the healing as well. The sooner we get healed up, the sooner I can meet my destiny!" and he trundles over, enchanting his mud slurry once again with primal magic and sets to help the kobold with the healing.

"And sandwiches! Master Wizard you are a delight! Much nicer than the undead ones I met in Chult." the boistrous druid helped himself as he worked. "Delicious!" could barely be made out as he spoke with his mouth stuffed full of food.

Actions:
Refocus
Treat Wounds on self
Heal Aquila
Refocus
Treat Wounds on Cutter/Khaymen/Robsen as needed

Sorry for lack of posting, if I was healing myself and Aquila that should just reduce the time Benji needed to heal up everyone else and the same with the 3 scouts

As the group sits in the barn now, eating sandwiches prepared by Eloric, and drinking juice, wine, or water and looks over the information Benji has, as well as asking pointed questions as the Kobold goes about healing them and then meditating between healing.

What they find out is they are on the Northern Continent called Avistan on a world called Golarion in much the same area as Faeruns Sword Coast, for the majority of them. For Robsen it was in a similar place as he was last in on his world. Though with Eloric, the demi plane of Dread ...Ravenloft, was what seemed to be a totally different location...though it did not go unnoticed by the Chronoskimmer that Kelthas Dread shared a name with that location.

Varisia was a haunted land once owned by entities called Runelords, who dominated their lands with odd Rune-Magic, Seven Runelords controlling the magic of the seven deadly sins, Wrath (the Runelord that controlled the area around which they found themselves) , , Envy, Greed, Sloth, Lust, Pride and Gluttony.  Their empire was called Thassilon. Then nearly 10,000 years ago a meteor struck Golarion plunging the world into Chaos. The majority of The Elves of this world had learned of 'Earthfall' as it was called and fled to the First World through Gates. Some Elves who could not get to the Gates, were left behind and bore a tremendous animosity to their kinsmen. This world had no Drow, but the Dark Elves of Golarion were similar in Nature, without their devotion to the Spider Goddess Lolth. Dwarves has fled the Darklands, as it was called here and journeyed in a quest for the sky, building flying cities. It seemed that many of the creatures found in their worlds were here as well, if a little different.

The Runelords magic was so great, they found ways to place themselves into suspended animation in other dimensions with triggers in place that would bring them back....

It took humanity a long time to rebuild, and here the center of all knowledge and the greatest city was called Absalom, on an island between Avistan and Garund. Absalom was as great a city as Waterdeep. However one noticeable difference was in an artifiact druf from the sea bottom, called The Star Stone. which could bring about divine ascension if the test was passed at its heart.

Sandpoint was built on the ruins of one of the ruins of Alaznist,. The Runelord of Wraths fortifications, which now was a defunct Lighthouse. Below Sandpoint was a relic called The Runeforge. Four Founding Families built Sandpoint, all coming from Maginmar from the south by a few days journey. All very wealthy. The Scarnetti's, with ties to the Lumber Consortium of the east. The Kaijitsu's who had made a name with Glass Manufacture, bringing a talent from far off Minkai from across the polar cap to the north. The Deverin's who had talents in liquor manufacture. And Finally The Valdemar's who were Fishers. These four families formed the Aristocracy of Sandpoint...until recently.

It seems that echos of the Runeforge caused quite a few people to turn away from their peaceful ways and turn to a darker side of themselves. In the last 30 years Bad things occurred in the region.  With the turning of Nualia Tobyn, an Aasimar child who had been left on the porch of the Cathedral in Sandpoint. It is reputed that she had healing powers.

In 4702 Absalom Recking (AR) (it is now 4724 AR) A wood carver named Jervis Stoot went on a killing spree, murdering 26 people over several months in Sandpoint. The Killer was known as The Chopper, because of his penchant for cutting people up with a butchers cleaver. He was caught and brought to Justice by then Deputy Belor Hemlock. Later after the Sherrif died, Belor would be voted in as Sherrif. The people of the town had been suspicious of The young Aasimar. Nualia for her strange aloofness, her liking to cut herself, and her strange powers. She had set fire to the Cathedral and watched it burn to the ground before fleeing.

Five years later, she would return with a united force of all the Goblin tribes of the vicinity and try to take over the town on the day of the consecration of the new and current Cathedral. The Runeforge was awoke and Sinspawn walked the land again as the Runelords began to awaken. A band of heroes saved Sandpoint and over the next year brought Nualia and her friends to justice as well as stopped Chief Ripnugget from his idea of a united Goblin kingdom. They also stopped another Murderer, Aldern Foxglove, called The Skinsaw man who had become infected with Vorels Phage, a disease that would turn a person into a ghoul-like creature, needing to feed on flesh. This lead them to stop faceless Stalkers who were replacing dignitaries of Maginmar as they worked for The Runelord Karzoug, Runelord of Greed, from his plans to reclaim Thassilon.

This would later bring them back to Sandpoint to stop Mokmurian, The Stone Giant Chieftain, in his attempt to conquer Sandpoint for Karzoug.with the aid of a Red Dragon sent from The Rune Lords citadel in Xin Shalast.. A Sinkhole was formed withion Sandpoint as the route to The Runeforge was found.

They followed this up with going after Karzoug and killing him themselves.

a Year later The Dark Elves below Celwynvian, The great Elven ciies ruins, in the Mierani Forest in Northern Varisia, plotted to call down another meteor to avenge their brethren and kill off the surface elves who had returned tp Golarion.. Their plan was thwarted and only a small meterorite was called down and it plunged into the ocean to the west which caused a Tsunami and flooded a lot of the lowlands of Varisia.

In 4711, the Errant daughter of the Kaijitsu family, Ameiko..owner of a famous adventurers Inn in Sandpoint 'The Rusty Dragon' was discovered to be the long lost Princess of Minkai and she set out with the youth of sandpoint's families and well known's to reclaim the throne, by travelling over the Crown of the World by Caravan. leaving a slight power vacuum in Sandpoint.

The very next year another Tsunami occured when an ancient artifiact of the Runelords was recovered called The Sihedron (or The Shattered Star). Runelord Alaznist was behind this one, and she was defeated.

In 4720 The Sinkhole was finally refilled and life became a bit normal for a time in Sandpoint.

The letter from Abstalar Zantus, The High Priest of Sandpoint reads-

Kind Sir Benji Copperclaw. You have been referred to me by a friend of mine Audrahni, a Priestess of Ashava who recently had the pleasure of travelling to Ravenmar and heard of your good work there stopping a deluded Cult from their foul deeds. Im hoping you might find it in your heart to travel to Sandpoint and bring your comrades with you, for I have need of a band of stalwart Adventurers again, here in our troubled town. I will welcome you at the Sandpoint Cathedral.

Dated This day The 1st of Gozran, 4724 AR

Yours Abstalar Zantus.

When Benji finishes his lengthy dissertation about Sand points past, and what little he knows of the present Cutter is suitably impressed. Then when he reads the invite Abstalar Zantus sent the young bard. A grin spreads across the Elfs face as he stands and dusts off his clothing. Well Mr. Copperclaw, You now have a group of comrades with you. I think it's time to find out what the High Priest of Sand Point needs with a team of adventures. As they leave the barn, and head down the dirt road, Cutter turns to Benji. You wouldn't happen to know any good walking music would you My little copper friend.

Not mister, friend Cutter, but Sir, Khayman corrected the elf with a respectful bow of his head to the Kobold, it was his inspirational tones that lifted our spirits and fighting prowess in the last fight, and it does indeed appear that you have inherited a troupe of hearty warriors to aid your cause. When everyone is finished eating, I suggest we follow our newfound friend to this town of Sandpoint. Already gathering up his things, the old rogue stood and walked back to where the corpses laid strewn about, the rush to check this new place out, he'd forgotten to look over the bodies for anything that might aid them.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
