As the rabbit appears in front of the hole, there is another hiss, and then more silence.
At first, Vidar thinks they may have both somehow disappeared into the earth...but then he hears something a warrior like himself would know quite well: the drip of sweat catching the running edge of a bladed weapon.
[[Vidar is not really in a position to see either (only the Image is, really) but he can still hear.]]

Upon hearing the mites go silent, Vidar thinks to himself, "What are those little buggers up to?", Perception =[1d20+6] = 13+6 = 19 to determine if he should launch his attack.
