He use his Detect Magic spell and try to find magic auras in this hall. If he doesn't find any unfamiliar aura then he go through this hall and examine the carving on the wall.
His meticulous search is rewarded by another illusory wall detected at the west side. The north part proves to be a lengthy corridor stretching west to east, featuring three doors. The carving is an embossed figure of a gargoyle, about one foot high and four inches wide, repeated on the west side of each of the doors. The gargoyles' mouths look like actual keyholes.
He goes through the illusory wall in the west side and thereafter he use his Detect Magic spell to find the auras there.
Torin finds another, smaller hall with another illusory wall in the northwest corner.
Torin try to find another "safe passage" rune. After that he goes trough the illusory wall in the north side and thereafter he use his Detect Magic spell to find the auras there.
Torin can't find any "safe passage" runes but the wall proves to be passable the same way all the others. Past the illusion the corridor continues about ten more feet forward before widening to another hall, some twenty by thirty feet, covered by a gloomy veil of some fine material Torin can't identify with his darkvision. He ventures forward to have a good look on the hall and it seems to be a closed one, except for another granite door at the far end. Concentrating on the gloom to see whether it's magic, Torin fails to notice the inhabitant in the far corner-- the nonmagical veil erupts into strips and a dark hairy body lunges forward, charging straight at the dwarf!

The large monstrous spider passes the dwarf's magical shield but can't get past the finely crafted fullplate, exposing its own body in its hurry.

The dwarf responds by evoking a spiritual weapon in the likeness of his patron goddess. The shortspear strikes true several times, and, assisted by the dwarf's morning star, in spite the best efforts of the spider who even ensnared the dwarf, down goes the beast and the dwarf, though all sticky and entangled, emerges victorious.
First of all he use his Detect Magic spell and try to find something interesting.
If nothing, then Torin take his flint and steel and burn down this web.
After the burn he will come back.
Torin lost concentration in the battle so his detect magic wore off.
