Torin is currently well rested. Thinking of a pantry reminds him that a break for food wouldn't hurt, though he's not particularly hungry yet.
At the first glance the heaps seem to be no more than fertile brown earth covered with ordinarly blue and green moss. A second look reveals rotten bits of food within. No signs of humanoid remains or other prospective valuables.
Torin eats some rations and after the break he contines his search.
Torin continues with searching the next mound, to the northwest (Q6) then the one to the east (Y12). He finds them to be all the same.
As he pokes through the latter, he can hear a splashing noise from the southwest. Spinning around, he strains his eyes but can't see anything out of place. (marked on map)
Torin checks the most western part of this chambers. After this he goes outside and tries to find the source of the splashing noise.
If you mean Q12 by "western part" then you started there. Please specify where you would like to go.
As for the splashing noise-- there was only one splash. Something like a waterskin full of water falling on the floor and bursting. Then all is quiet.
Okay. Torin goes to H28 (the most western part). While Torin is goining to H28, he take a look to chamber M22.
After this he will go out and check the chamber around C22&K22.
Heading towards M22 Torin saw the dim aura of a flickering torchlight falling on the ground where lay part of the heap from that alcove, as if someone dug into it while the dwarf was busy inspecting the northern hall.
He heard a hiss that resembled him of the complex syllables of spellcasting and a few seconds later the torchlight was gone and all is silent.
Ooc - can't update map now; you are about 20ft NE of the alcove (3 diagonal steps) I guess it's P19
OOC - I updated Torin's position in the map.
Torin tries to identify the spell (OOC - spellcraft check: 17).
OOC - sorry for not updating earlier; Torin is a one square further NE (corrected) but anyway it's his turn so feel free to move.
Torin identifies the spell as the arcane spell "Invisibility". He recalls that while light sources (like a torch) may become invisible the light itself remains visible under normal circumstances. This is not what happened this time...
Torin casts an Invisibility Purge spell and going forwards to the source of the hiss.
