[IC] Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round...
OOC @Toot - "missed" not "messed". Stupid autocorrect. I referred to your need for clarification on Merri's and Torin's position. So: Merri is grappled and Torin has attacked the mantis (we pretend he was close enough not to charge)
OOC @Shanna Rendin - "the visual illusion of an object, creature, or force, as visualized by you. " So as long as the mimicked effect is one of those, I guess it's OK. E.g. you can mimick a wall of fire without the heat. I wonder how you visualise wind as a force, for example Smile Which spell do you have in mind?

Toot directs Boo to position while summoning a wand from the haversack.
Having been dismounted, Boo frantically bites at the insectoid beast and pierces its chitinous hide! The mantis chitters in rage!

Third Round
Lugar swiftly attacks, swinging the mithril axe to bite into the giant bugs armor. On his first swing he blinks out just as he was about to connect! Blinking back into reality he follows up with a second attack. The critters legs tremble in reaction to the thunderous crash through its armor! but stays up and kicking.

Shanna, Merri (pinned), Torin are up!

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
