At the pond... Ursk is likely the strongest in the group but, with his armor, not necessarily the best swimmer. I'm thinking one or two of us should go in with a rope, see where it leads, then either tie the rope at the other end or...if there is trouble, yank twice and we'll start pulling the rope back to shore.

My swimming sucks so I'll leave that to others who won't sink like a rock.   Tongue

Everyone must swim.

Can't someone just tie a rope around my ankle and drag me through the water?   Tongue

No bonuses to the swim checking we had a rope line anchored at both ends? (Unless its more than three rope-lengths, in which case I guess it's moot.)

Although, it's a pond...not like we have to fight currents or waves...and since we don't have to worry about running out of breath, we can be like the undead pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean and walk on the bottom to get where we want!

Maybe?

I don't think the rope is going to cut it. The DC is only 10. The water is fairly calm.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
