[IC] A Stolen Land
Vidar will secure their prisoner until someone can tie him up, preferably to a post, and wait until everyone is ready to interrogate him.  "Try to escape and I will crush your bones until you die of the pain." Vidar threatens the man, and he sounds sincere.

Once Happs is bound and gagged, why not?  He will assist in the cleanup.  Blood makes the green grass grow... he thinks to himself.

"Master Oleg?  Go take care of your wife while we get this mess cleaned up.  I am sure she does not wish to see her courtyard drenched in blood and filth."

With that he uses his still large size to accomplish as much as he can in the short time it will remain, leaving his companions to interrogate Happs.

He starts bu piking up a bale of hay and tossing it into the back of the wagon, then gathering the bodies of the slain and tossing them into the wagon on top of the hay.

"I will get the horses rounded up while you search these." He says to everyone within earshot.

By then, with the enlarge having worn off he then gets the brigands horses rounded up and settled into the stable, where they can be fed and calmed.  Then he will remove the tack and harness from the horses and seasch the saddlebags.

[OoC what do we find? Bear in mind that at our level and resources even mundane equipment is valuable, excample the saddles on the horses themselves, even teh saddlebags and feed is worth mentioning. There are standard 'kits' in the d20pfsrd that detail that stuff.. like a 'tack kit']

After a few moments of silence, the courtyard of Oleg's Trading Post becomes still but for the occasional whinny of frightened horses with nowhere to run to.  After a time, Oleg peeks out the door and asks "Is it over?  I mean, I would have loved to show those thugs a thing or two but, you know...I'd just as soon make sure Svetlana was safe."  "You sure were making me feel safe, love.  By hiding with me under the table."  "..."

With the bandit threat seemingly eliminated (for now), attention can now be turned inward.  A thorough search of the bandits' possessions reveals that they were relatively light, lending credence to Svetlana's belief that the bandit camp is not very far away.

Happs gives Vidar a bored look and shrugs, as if to say I'm not exactly going anywhere, now am I.

[[Ok...so it turns out that I severely misjudged the total XP of the encounter.  You each get 800 XP, not 200.  I guess I just added the XP award for one bandit and Happs or something.  You should also have gotten XP for the horses as equivalent for 'defeating' them since they were technically the property of the bandits.  Aside from the XP and gaining the services of 6 horses and a wagon, along with returning the trade goods Oleg and Svetlana surrendered as bait, you find this among the dead bandits:

6x Leather Armor
6x Longbow
6x Short Sword
12x Trail Rations
120 arrows
60 gp

And this on Happs:
1x Leather Armor
1x Composite Longbow (+2 Str)
1x Dagger
1x Silver Stag Lord Amulet
2x Alchemist's Fire
20x Arrows
35 gp
2 x Trail Rations]]

As the others begin searching the bodies (and any bandits that happen to remain alive), Andra walks around the wall to the front and jumps down, bouncing a fair height when she hits the ground. She nonchalantly meanders toward Happs, glancing down at each body she passes, until she stands before the bound man.

"Well, I guess you get the pleasure of dealing with me..."

((OOC: Not sure what to roll for interrogation, but I'll probably be using inspiration for it.))

[OoC letting the timeline catch up to me.. rounding up the horses wiould take tiem. Valdi would like to claim one of those longbows and some arrows as well as a horse when we get to that point, but if I assume at least a minute per horse.. and realistically it'd be a lot longer, it will give the party some time too work with happs before Valdi is done]

[[Intimidate works, as does Diplomacy.]]

Ooc - Good cop bad cop anyone?  Also, while Vidar said he would torture Happs to death, he was lying.  He's chaotic good, but an effective intimidator +11, not including his 12'+ frame enlarged.  I imagine that we are all normal size however, after a battle.  Eran's spell would only last 1 minute.

When Andra approaches Happs, he will stop what he is doing and accompanies her, removing the gag.  He will act as support, letting Andra do the questioning, and ensuring Happs doesn't try to escape or harm her.

Ooc -  Rolling = 20+11 = 31]Intimidate in case Happs doesn't feel like complying during her questioning. Vidar will slowly run his claws down the front of his makeshift tower shield, tearing long ragged marks into the wood... as if he would do the same to Happs skin...

She gives Vidar a smile as he removes Happs' gag. "Now. I'm sure that you have to have some modicum of intelligence, since you seemed to be the leader of this..." she waves a finger toward the bodies, "... formerly merry band. And I'm sure you realize that it would be much better for you to cooperate... But where are my manners? You must be hungry, after traveling so far, all night."

((OOC: That's just the opening statement. This is the roll for the interrogation.))

Diplomacy [1d20+2] = 18+2 = 20

((OOC: And I'm still gonna use an Inspiration point to add 1d6 to that, just for fun.))

Inspiration [1d6] = 5

[[Not sure what you're trying to do there with that roll...]]

Happs sighs and shrugs "Wish I could say that about myself.  But since you're holding all the cards...and have this big meatsack ready to rip me to shreds if I don't cooperate, I guess I have no choice now, don't I?"

For someone in his current position, Happs is surprisingly unafraid of what Vidar might do to him.  He considers the big bloodrager frightening without question, but something else occupies his mind that keeps him from outright, pissing-his-pants fear. (Sense Motive check)

"Trail rations always work...assuming you live long enough to use them in this blasted place."

Eran lets the others to speak with Happs. He observants his body language, ....

Perhaps it is the different mannerisms a Human demonstrates that do not translate quite as well to an Aasimar, but all Eran can glean from Happs is...inevitability? Perhaps?

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
