Escape from the Mines (Shunna Maza , Ubi Sunt & Callie)
Itès an idea that is wworth a try, but there are serious risks, as this is a literal grinder.  There are asteroids moving different directions, at different speeds, colliding and changing course.  To help illustrate this I have highlighted the faster movers in Red, Yelloww, or Blue.

The Red objects are moving generally left-to right at about 1 square per round, for now.
The Yellow objects are moving generally right to left at about 1 square per round.
The blue objects are a bunch of 'fast movers' moving left  to right at a  angle toward the bottom right  at 3 squares per round (2 squares  for every left 1 down)

The Tie fighters seem to be moving at patrol speed (less than max speed) roughly left to right

Your ship  https://swse.fandom.com/wiki/Lambda-Class_Shuttle , is capable of flying 4 squares per round.

To get an idea what will happen when one asteroid collides with anoth you can see that a Red asteroid at AR-09 is just about to collide with a much larger asteroid at AS-09.

The danger is that if you shut down tucked away against an asteroid any one of these asteroids is big enough to destroy you if it hits you without shields, maybe even with shields.

For scal 1 square = about 1.5 kilometers.  Almost EVERY rock bigger than the Blue ones are big enough to hide behind, even a 1 square rock is a kilometer wide.

What about the tried and true, hiding inside an asteroid?  Like heroes did and hope it's not actually a throat of a creature.

You see no caves.

Shunna will use the force to, Sense Her Feelings (full round action) for both options.  First to hide on an asteroid and next to attempt to sneak our way out.  Shunna has a UTF 15 so it's automatic.

[As a Full Round Action, you can make a DC 15 Use the Force check to determine whether an action will yield favorable or unfavorable results to you in the immediate future (10 minutes or less).]

Hiding on an asteroid will NOT yield favourable results, you'll get pulverized.  Sneaking through the asteroid field will buy you more time.

A further check might reveal more, like can you have any chance of delaying them from attacking, but then you will need to spend another two rounds.

Neither the TIE fighters or asteroids are staying in place while you do this so I have updated the map by two rounds.  Realizing that the ship is going to be smashed by the asteroid that is now at BF-18/BG-20 and if it kept going forward would be very exposed to one of the TIE squadrons and the Star Destroyer in a moment, I have had Dez move the ship laterally to AZ-21.

The new colours of asteroid reflect some changes in direction due to impacts.

Yellow = right to left at 1 square per round
Red = left to right at 1 square per round
Blue = diagonal left to right 3 squares  per round (3 squares right and 1 down each round)
Green = diagonal right to left and down 1 square per round (1 left and 1 down)
Purple = diagonal right to left and down 3 squares per round (3 squares left and 1 down)

Shunna tells the pilots to use their best judgement and try to fly us closer to the edge of the asteroid field.  Zero, keep monitoring communication and using sensors to assist the pilots in maneuvers.  Try to use the larger asteroids for cover.  We have to get out of here as quickly as possible.

If we can move 4 squares per move action, I will move us 8 squares to AT17

You make it safely to AT-17, safely tucked behind several large asterois where you cannot be seen by the Imperials.

Next round?

[OoC:  Just wanted to mention that as the System Operator Zero can Aid another for Skill and Ability checks as a standard action.

But, Only the Copilot can assist on Pilot checks, and only the Commander can assist on Use Computer checks. Any crewmember can aid any other Skill Check or Ability Check.]

"How close are we to the edge of the Asteroid field?" Shunna asks (whomever would have knowledge of this.).

"They aren't moving very fast so keep outpacing them and trying to keep the asteroids between us and them!"

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
