Assuming Zero tells Shunna how much time it would take to restart the power on the Asteroid, Shunna closes her eyes and opens her mind to the force.

[Search Your Feelings: DC 15; Result: Automatic. ]

~Will retrieving Long's device yield favorable or unfavorable results?~

As a Full-Round Action, you can make a DC 15 Use the Force check to determine whether an action will yield favorable or unfavorable results to you in the immediate future (10 minutes or less). For example, you can make the check to determine whether destroying a Sith Artifact will have immediate unforeseen repercussions. The answer does not take into account the long term consequences of a contemplated action. Using the above example, a successful check would not portend a future encounter with vengeful darksiders angered by the destruction of the dark side artifact. (The GM must assess the immediate consequence of the action, based on what he or she knows about the circumstances).

Long escaped using the MAIN landing facility right in the center of the crater on this side of the asteroid, you are basically flying above it, exposed to the turbo lasers on the rim of the mile wie crater.  Hence my suggestion that you get cover.  there are MILLIONS of asteroids you can get cover behind, some close enough, some not.  The object Long left behind is just behind one such asteroid. Well within reach, and Zero tells you you have maybe 30 seconds left before those turbo lasers might be able to start firing.

Serch your feeling result: Favorable

[OoC:  Ok, couple more question.  Since objects are weightless in space can I use, Move Light Object to move it around?

Move Light Object (Trained Only) Edit

As a Move Action, you can Use the Force to telekinetically lift and move a relatively light object within your line of sight. A successful DC 10 Use the Force check allows you to move an object weighing up to 5 kg a distance of 6 squares in any direction. As a Standard Action, you can use the object as a projectile weapon, but the DC increases to 15. If your Use the Force check beats the target's Reflex Defense, the object hits and deals 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage. Using an object as a projectile weapon is otherwise treated as a ranged attack for the purposes of Talents and Feats that interact with ranged attacks.

Also, how exactly do things from the outside get into the shuttle?  do they bring it in through the ramp or are their elevators under each cargo hold that you load up and then lift into place?  Are their space suits in the cargo hold in case there's a breach?  ]

[OoC2:  I was thinking of this...  Everyone go into the cockpit.  Shunna puts on a space suit and ties herself off inside the the passenger area (Or hides in one of the weapon's locker or 'refresher.').  We then open the ramp (but not in front of the object so the escaping air doesn't push it away).  We then position the ship so Shunna can see the object via the hole left by the ramp.  Then she uses Move light object (or move object) to pull it into the passenger area.  Close the ramp.  Re-pressurize the passenger area.  Then get the hell out of here.

Are their any better suggestions?  Shunna would be happy to hear.  She doesn't relish the idea of floating in space.]

Shunna tells the pilot to get to the object as quickly as possible and use what ever you can to shield us from attack.

I'll have to impose a bit of a reality check there. The short answer is yes, in this case it would work, but I would not allow it to wok on any object greater than Medium sized. Foer that you would need the Move Object force power, which you have but which has more limited range.

There are loading hatches accessible from the underside of the ship, but no mechanism to lift things in, any cargo larger than what fits though a hatch larger than 31 meter by 0.75 meter has to be taken up the boarding ramp. Lambda shuttles are not very well suited for hauling cargo. The cargo bays are literally whatever fits in the lockers behind the seats or else  occupies seating space. There is no separate cargo hold like on cargo transports.

Zero can tell it is possible for the system operator to open and close the individual storage locker hatches using the ships computer.

As for whether there are space suits, you do not know. No one has opened any lockers aside from the one HK was trapped in to see what they contain.
There are eight lockers, and you have only looked in one.

Does Shunna share this idea in character? You specifically posted this as OoC.

Sensing that MK isn't reacting Dez will take the initiative as co-pilot and  steer the shuttle around the  large asteroid.  Easily 20 meters across the asteroid provides ample cover and you soon see the upper torso and head of a destroyed super battle droid glining in space.

"We can't stay this close to the asteroid long, it's tumbling will either expose us or flatten us.""

Her words are prophetic, as no sooner has she gotten the shuttle behind the asteroid than you all feel the WHUMP of turbo laser blasts hitting the far side of the asteroid. There is no sound, but there definitely is a shockwave that can be felt.

[OoC1: So basically they use some kind of a forklift and then someone inside the Cargo Holds would move them into place.  Correct? ]

[OoC2: Sure.  My mistake.  But I did ask if anyone had any better ideas.]

[OoC3: Shouldn't there be some kind of equipment list in the computer that someone can access to find out what the ship is carrying?]

Shunna asks Njon to help check to see if we have space suits or anything else that looks important in the cargo holds -- Starting with with the Weapon and Storage Lockers at the back -- and she will join him.

[OoC3: I can't remember if the Talz can understand Basic, so Shunna will ask Zero to act as a translator between us and the Talz.  ]

If anything were loaded heavy enough to require a lift that is, the storage lockers are not much larger than the overhead bins on an airliner nowadays. If a stormtrooper can't lift that over his head he needs to find another line of work.

There should be a cargo manifest and/or a supplies manifest, but no one has checked yet.

Dez and Njon both shake their heads that they can't think of a better idea. Njon hoots to Zero that the cockpit does have a working pressurized door, it will be cramped but everyone can fit.

Njon hurries to the back and begins opening locker doors.

[OoC:  Are you sure they're the size of overhead bins?  The write up says it can carry 80 tons of cargo and are sometimes converted into living space.  The bins on airliners couldn't carry 80 tons of cargo and would hardly provide more living space.  Just looking at the map and each hold looks like it's 6' by 5'. ]

Shunna will ask whomever is not busy to look at the cargo manifest.  [I'm assuming Zero can do this while opening the Cargo latches.]

Shunna is still looking in the Weapon and Storage Lockers at the back.  There appears to be two doors at the back but they open up into the same Storage lockers.

Zero will be familiarizing itself with all the cargo manifests and unlocking the storage compartment to specific items like space walking suits if they're available.

[OOC: Would raising shields be a good idea?  It won't cause us to bounce around the asteroid field like a pinball will it?  Will activating the shields keep us from bringing the object onboard?

If it is a good idea, Zero will raise the shields.]

Will be detailing locker contents shortly but short answer is Shunna finds spare storm trooper armor components, e11 blaster rifles, power packs and grenades (frag, stun, and smoke).

Zero tells everyone that the manifest lists 10 vacuum masks and two Imperial Tie flight suits in the lockers beside the boarding ramp (lockers 9 on this map https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/swse...ttle_2.jpg)

A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
