Still at 1 square per round.. thought youwanted to catch the shuttle before it left.

[OoC:  ok I'm confused.  Dragging depends upon the terrain you're dragging the object on.  A smooth surface means the object weighs 1/5th as much which means the Trooper now weighs 17kg.  Is that over his carrying capacity? ]

From http://swse.wikia.com/wiki/Equipment
Quote:A dragged object has less effective Weight depending on the resistance of the surface as noted in the below table:

Dragging Resistance
SURFACEMULTIPLIER
Rough1
Normal1/2
Smooth/Wheeled1/5
Frictionless1/10

So with a regular surface, this floor is not smooth, it is dug through solid rock as a mine, the trooper weighs half if dragged.

Also as per the same page heavy load equals 3/4 (rounded down) move speed. so yes better than one square, but not fast. 6 square move speed equals 4 per move.. 8 squares per round at double move.. running while dragging might be hard.. I would allow two people to drage.. each grab a leg and then run with heavy load = x3 speed rather than x4.... so running dragging a trooper = 12 squares a round.

"Ugh, screw it, he's too heavy!" Ubi belts out and drops the heavy stormtrooper, breathing heavy.  "Let's get moving, c'mon!" He says and runs north knowing that time is not on their side.

Ooc - I suppose the Talz could carry him but he's "dead" wait atm :Smile Someone still has a stormtooper helmet right?

The talz and zabrak are not actually that much stronger than Ubi lol. You guys can drag a trooper at 3/4 speed and run x 3, for a total move per round of 12 squares, Versus a flat out x4 run = 24 squares.

Does everyone follow Ubi? Callie does have the trooper helmet.

Shunna will run north and say to Ubi that she should lead the way so she can try to block any surprise blaster fire.

"Be my guest lass." He says continuing to run to the furthest chamber.

The five of you run north [finally...  JEEZUS!!]  past the body of Kratos and into the next chamber.

It is a large room dominated in the center by a massive 20'x20' hatch in the floor.  All around the perimeter of the room are stacks of barrels and crates, containing who knows what. In the 'north' (you have no idea what is north underground, and does it really matter on an asteroid that has only a tiny magnetic field and artificial gravity) , there are two ventilation grates leading into the abyss tucked each into a seperate corner.  Finally there is a set of heavy metallic blast doors in the 'east'.

Ubi looks to Shunna, "Which way?"

Ooc - is there a data terminal nearby, anything that might help them locate the mysterious docking bay? Can't remember if there was a dead storm trooper in this room, maybe he was running in a certain direction?

The sormtroopers never even made it this far, you dropped them all long before they got here.

Shunna quickly investigates the doors(?) on the ground in the middle of the room.  Is that another door to the east?]

[OoC: Is this like the doors Ripley opened when she was fighting the Alien Queen, to suck her out into space?]

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
