Malcolm's (Malcontent) & Johnny B Dorm Room

"Is it getting warm in there?", Porsche says, doubting the creature can hear her.

Aurum glances at Porshe, then rolls her eyes. "Oh, here we go. New charity organization, everyone. Telepaths for the Humane Treatment of Monsters." She winces, like someone just punched her in the gut, then gasps as color bleeds down from her hairline, her skin becoming gold again and banishing the shadows around her. "Stop!" she gasps, her voice once again merely her own. "They're crying for help! The... blob thing. It's a... a... colony of some kind. Thousands of minds, and they need help."

Jack was probably, but hopefully not, going to roast his friends.  Though, seeing that Ros is shifting colours like her namesake and the simple fact that she is all put together like the golden hotty that she is, gets Jack out of his homicidal rage-like tendencies.

"Oh SH---I mean crap!!!  They all need help?!?!  What can I do?  What can we do?!?"  He looks to any of his blue halo'd friends for help, his red halo'd friends will have to be dealt with laters.

Seeing that the attacking kids and the blob were both taken care of for the moment, and that there seemed to be something going on with the telepath that probably wasn't any of her business, she wanders over to Malcolm. "Hey. You ok?" Perhaps surprisingly, perhaps not, there isn't a scratch on her, despite going toe-to-toe with Saleem.

The Professor shouts out, "Samba!  We don't continue attacking something that is subdued!"  Then looking at Roslyn he says, "A colony?  Is there anything else.  It seems to have a weakness to heat.  Something else that's troubling, why was Emma Frost keeping me from waking up.  How does she factor into this attack?  She could have just kept you all asleep and let the creature attack.  For some reason she didn't want me getting involved."

Blink had sneaked out tonight so she had no clue what was going on.  After her outing she teleports into her room and then goes to quickly put her pj's on.  But then suddenly stops, opens the door to the bedroom and walks out into the hallway where all the commotion is happening.  She looks around and then strolls down the hall and into Jack's and Malcolm's room.

She shakes her head, looking like she might be about to faint. "I don't... It's too many. There's... it's like there's a feedback loop. I can't tell where thoughts are coming from or who is communicating with who." She sways slightly on her feet. "I tried to contact you, or any of the staff. Emma stopped me, saying 'I wouldn't want them to kill one of your own.'" She rubs her injured shoulder gingerly. "Protecting the controlled students maybe... but that doesn't explain why she kept you asleep." She drops her head slightly, mumbling almost to herself. "Maybe she just wanted me to finalize my connection, and thought it would scare them."

"Hey Chandy, It's not safe!"  Jack tries to stop Blink.  "Are all of you alright?"  Then he looks to Ros.  "Goldy?!  Let it go, it's hurting you."

Looking chagrined, Porsche allows the temperature inside the bubble to return to normal.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
