RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 03-27-2019

I'm at work right now but I wanted to let you guys know that Nang did indeed succeed on his Dark Knowledge check.

Long story short, I confused the names of two creatures.  I couldn't figure out why the creature I found was double the power of what it was a few weeks earlier.  Suddenly I had an epiphany.  I googled the name of the creature I remembered and there it was.

FYI: Nang says this creature is an, Invisible Stalker.  [Not the Aerial Servant whose name I mixed up. Rolleyes  Thank god cuz the Aerial Servant is uber powerful at this level.]

So everyone gets +1 to hit Invisible Stalkers for 1 minute.

RE: OoC thread - Selina Parcellus - 05-28-2019

OoCly: I do not believe in coincidences, especially regarding my PCs. I think I have an idea of what is causing Selina to withstand so much damage. I know Selina already tried, and failed, twice before to figure it out, but I have a sneaking suspicion.

Has anyone bothered to check where our Shadow-dragony kobold friend is?...

RE: OoC thread - Betimi - 05-28-2019

of course we haven't at least not IC

RE: OoC thread - Betimi - 05-28-2019

Piper is not supposed to be with us .. he let Ning and Nang come instead

RE: OoC thread - Selina Parcellus - 05-28-2019

Exactly. “Not supposed to be.” Does that mean he can’t have snuck aboard and stowed away?

RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 05-29-2019

It fills my devious DM heart with joy that you're still wracking your brain over this mystery.

But of course my reply must be,

No comment.   Tongue

RE: OoC thread - Selina Parcellus - 05-29-2019

Fascinating that you would choose to respond to that. And in that way. Hmmmm...

RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 05-30-2019

By saying, no comment, I was just trying to not influence your thought process.  In doing so, now you may feel that I might have been giving you a hint, even if by accident.  Mysteries are fun, aren't they?   Tongue

RE: OoC thread - Selina Parcellus - 05-30-2019

Truly possible...but who said I metagame to that extent and allow Out of Character ideas to influence my in-game actions? Wink

RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 05-30-2019

Yeah because no one ever does that.   Tongue  I think it's nigh impossible for our brains not to take every bit of information it can find to solve a mystery.  Even when you do figure out what's happening, knowledge can sometimes have consequences.  And I think when you look back, some of the things Selina has already said and/or done will seem very humorous. I know I've already had a couple of good chuckles.
