RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 03-17-2016

Well we do get overtime for anything over 10 hours in a day, over 80 hours in 2 weeks, and on the 8th/ 9th/ 10th/ etc until we get a day off. I didn't have to take the extra shift on Monday and Tuesday but i dont do overtime often and it was a chance to earn some extra time off. This time off is called, 'time in lieu.' Thank god I dont have to depend on just banking overtime to get time off. I get also get 5 weeks vacation, 18 days sick time and a couple of days of personal leave time per year too. But I tend to split the t.o. up so it works out to about a week off per month. Big Grin

Sorry I've been absent over the last few days. I had some things I needed to get caught up on. I am heading over tho the Mission thread now to post. Smile

RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 04-08-2016

Sorry my posting has been off. I've been trying to get caught up on some stuff that I need to get finished. I will post tonight at work or tomorrow morning. I promise.

RE: OoC thread - DM Dougfan - 04-17-2016

I just want you all to know that my posting may be hectic and inconsistent for the next couple of weeks. My aunt passed away yesterday and it goes beyond that she was beloved, still young, that I never got a chance to say goodbye, and that she had a 17-year old son who now has to cope with this for the rest of his life. She passed away from metastatic cancer, and both the type and the source (triple-negative breast cancer from the BRCA gene) were the same as what my own mother beat (aside from BRCA, which is always there). I'm beside myself. Please know that I will do everything I can to post, but I'll be a little...distracted.

My condolences doug, thanks for informing us but don't worry about the game, take whatever time you need to deal with your loss. Best wishes to you and your family.

RE: OoC thread - Betimi - 04-19-2016

No worries Doug. You take whatever time you need and do whatever you need to do to mourn. We'll still be here.

RE: OoC thread - GM Marvel - 04-19-2016

Doug, I'm very sorry for your loss.  As the others have said, take your time and do what you need to do for you and your family.

As for me, I'm sorry, I haven't been around that much lately.  Due to the usual (Work, RL, Etc) I've been having problems with posting.  I thank you for your patients while I get things sorted.  I hope to get back on track within the next few days.

Also, Gilley has recently let me know that his computer is broken.  I assume he will get back online as soon as he's able.

RE: OoC thread - Nacesh - 04-20-2016

Condolences, Doug. Take your time; we are a very patient lot.

As for me:

You guys are awesome.

RE: OoC thread - Gilley - 04-23-2016

Hey. Yes, sorry for the absence. Thanks for letting everyone know, Marvel. Computer is back up and running.

So, where am I? Oh! I'm green. That makes sense. I'll just wait for my next turn then.
