Dez only has +4 deception, she is good at Persuasion not deception

Would it be possible to have the pilot call the base and tell them the Astromech is malfunctioning and he needs the codes?

Remember each of these take a round, so Dez will have to keep you in cover and dodging asteroids for up to four rounds here.

No, you will either get ground to dust or spott3d by the TIE fighters long before that.

Yes, they are waiting fr Kratos, someone that held the authority to command a Star destroyer. Even if you are not giving the corret passcode, what if you are Kratos.. blowing him up would have... consequences

The next round she will move to AN10... following the purple rocks through the gap in the wall of blue ones headed their way. Maybe we can get some distance between us and the Imperials afterall. Does anyone know the range of turbolasers?

You end up almost out of the asteroid belt, but tucked safely behind the massive planetoid size asteroid. That rock is roughly 5 km around, and while it may seem like it is moving slow, 1 square per round is actually about 900 km/h. It is ploughing it's way across the edge of the Minefield.
