Zero would have knowlsed, also just look at the map. 1 square = 1.5 km. You could be clear in one round if you wanted, but then they'd be on you in the minute it took to jump.

you already know, they are waiting for THIS SHUTTLE. Until Kratos comes back, their intending to wwait for him. Example if Darth Vader goes down to a planet, his Star Destroyer doesn't leave without him.

[OoC: I have no clue what you want us to do then. If we fight they will just send out a squadron to look for us. We can't hide and wait them out because they are waiting for the shuttle. I have suggested going to the edge of the asteroid field and make a break for it but you said I can't do that either because it takes a minute to go to hyperspace. I'm not sure why we can't hide on the edge of the field, staying ahead of them for a minute, then hyperspace away. We can't sneak past them with codes because their astromech exploded before we could get them. I am one player who is not at all familiar with space combat (or even what all the options we have available) and none of the NPC's are offering any hints. ]

I'm not sure what fighting the Tie-fighters will do other than alert the Star Destroyer and then they will respond with a squadron of more Tie-fighters. Maybe jump into some space suits and abandon ship? But that will just get us smushed into space jam. How about just giving ourselves up?"

As per Use Computer : Access Information - https://swse.fandom.com/wiki/Use_Computer you can get this Private information after 10 minutes. It is actually secret information but the times are for searching the Holonet.. what you are looking foris stored on this computer.
You know already that whatever code you find might be several hours old, it was the droid that had the algorithm to know what the next code would be and when it was changing.

Would it be possible to have the pilot call the base and tell them the Astromech is malfunctioning and he needs the codes?
