Background,.....

Born in the frozen northern lands of Scandia to a nomadic tribe.
Raised as a hunter and scavenger among his people.
Was taken as a slave at an early age, when his people were slaughtered by another tribe.
Sold multiple times due to his unruly nature, but kept alive because of his impressive fortitude and strength.
Eventually wound up in Helos, serving Menelaus, an elder Spartan king, who seen something in the young Northman.
Though trained in the use of the spear and shield as was Spartan custom, he thrived in battle wielding a broad sword. A keepsake from the king's younger days of combat.
Granted his freedom at the age of 17 by Menelaus, he swore fealty to the old King and has served faithfully for the past 3 years.

Baring more scars from the whip to his back, then marks received in battle, the young man was a terror to behold. Moving gracefully through the throngs of soldiers, his long blade cleaving the life from his enemies, even as he evaded their feeble attempts to do him harm. Emeris, the Heart of the Savage North, the sword sworn Northman to King Menelaus of Sparta, a freed slave turned devoted citizen to people of Helos.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
