Divination wand may just be Identify. "Cognosco" sounds like something like that.

If it is, pointing it at a pond wouldn't activate the wand.   Smile

Yes, but it also won't blow up a party member if the Torque twists it. If nothing happens she will then try it as identify, but which item should she try it on? If it destroys the item that sucks, but we also don't want to over se things here in the Torque.

Point it at the dagger, perhaps? A magical dagger is nice but who uses them? Unless we get a rogue, that is.

Try it on one of the crappier potions.

I should point out that if it is Identify, letting someone who has identify on their spell list say the command word would be the smartest action because they can activate it even without a UMD

Better idea.

But first we seem to have a new concern.

I think the only person with Identfy on their list is Nang.  It's on the Magic Domain list.  He can cast any divine spell, including cleric, druid, adept, divine bard etc.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
