Oriana opens her gate and the dazzling display of fire, ice and water sprung up around her once again. She figured with a magical ball of light above her she wasn't going to be hiding any time soon.

Keeping her shield up, the former guard keeps and eye back down the hallway where they had come down in case anything tried to sneak up on them from behind.

Actions:
1st: Channel Elements
2nd: Raise Shield

3rd: Seek. Perception 1d20+5=10

Satoru had been about to say something when the leafy one just wakes right up and threw down.

His mouth now hanging open, he thinks a silent curse to his Companion that she readily agrees with. Then, as they work together as usual, he weaves a spell to protect her while she ducks into the hallway leading to the barracks to her left.

Actions:
Act Together (one action)
Satoru casts Protect Companion (2 actions)
Arielle strides into the nearby hallway leading to the left.

Dunndero continues to move up the hallway with Kalista cautiously, until he notices that the group has gotten spilt uo by Toryn>s distraction at the door, and begins to turn and alert the group of the dangers of not sticking together, when the leafy one kicks shit off.

Lucian rubs his temples in mild frustration.  They've done well enough so far, so he hoped they knew how to form a line and that Toryn had enough sense not to make screwing with that door too obvious.  Lucian assumed the little guy was going to attempt to use it to flank those inside but splitting the battle group was a gamble. The wizard steadies himself and prepares to strike the first target that comes through any of these doors.

(Combat Placement - When combat starts, Lucian should be standing where he can see both groups.  In his previous post he was going to talk to Kalista, but combat started, so I am guessing that was interrupted.)

(Action 1 - Maintain Spell: Shield.)
(Action 2 & 3 - Telekinetic Projectile on the first target that presents itself.)

Spell Attack Check: 1d20+8 = 21
Projectile Damage: 1d6+4 = 5

Toryn saw his compatriots run out into the large hallway and took that as a sign that it was go time. He turned to the door and cautiously opened it, his trusty shortsword in hand...and nearly fell backwards in shock as he came face-to-face with floating armor! At first Toryn was convinced he saw a ghost but upon a more focused inspection, he realized that the suit of armor was engulfed in a barely perceptible mass of quivering jelly, not moving at all. It was an ooze, a gelatinous cube to be more precise! And Toryn was one step away from getting eaten. Again!

Not wishing to stress test another creature's digestive system, the gnome shut the door again as fast as he could and whirled around to his nearby comrades. There's a gelatinous cube in there! And it looks hungry! That creature did have some mighty fine armor in its belly though...

Action 1: Interact: Open Door
Perception = 25
Action 2: Recall Knowledge = 16
Action 3: Close the door again

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
