Selina nods to Tomeal, then narrows her eyes at the wet spots on the ground. Pointing the tip of her blade at one, she gingerly pokes at one of them.

You are around 20' from the floor.  Scrutinizing the wet spots you think they resemble splat marks.  The heads with legs maybe?  You suddenly wonder are these wet spots where the heads landed?  If so, what happened to them?  Then the growling begins emanating from deeper in the darkness.

If these are where they landed...where are the legs?

Selina walks along the wall until she is about 10 feet from the ground, peering around suspiciously...until the growl emerges from the darkness.  Then her blade shifts to point directly where the noise came from.  Her jaw sets and she glances back to Tomeal with a look like 'What next?'

Tomeal will of course always move with anyone who moves ahead of the party.  He whispers to Selina, "Whatever that growl is, maybe it ate the heads or something..."

Ning floats behind the two warriors and whispers, "Shall me float closer? My blindsight and darkvision might pick something up."

[Kubo]

Kubo will move with the group crossbow at the ready!

Tomeal will of course always move with anyone who moves ahead of the party.  He whispers to Selina, "Whatever that growl is, maybe it ate the heads or something..."

Ning floats behind the two warriors and whispers, "Shall me float closer?  My blindsight and darkvision might pick something up."

Selina nods to Tomeal and then says to Ningalu "Yes, but take care.  I don't think I need to state how we are flying completely blind in this situation."  She then gives him an embarrassed sort of grin about the unintentional pun.  "Sorry."
