Portho continues his oration as he steps 5' north-west, as he does so he sheathes his rapier and switches to his bow. [Standard action to sheath sword, move action to draw bow]

[Torin]

Torin tries to escape from the web, but he couldn't (EA check: 3), then he moves 10 feet to north (maybe).

[DM Surranó]

This is one particularly insisting web and Torin fails to tear it up from the dwarven cobblestone.
Meanwhile, the next section of the web erupts in flames as the previous ones die into their ashes.

Portho moves to a guarding position, swapping to ranged weaponry.

Understandably, the vermin is reluctant to pass through the burning webs so once again it's your turn.

[Torin]

Torin escapes successfully from the web. He takes a step to Noth-East and starts to cast a SM III spell (Celestial Bison).
(If he couldn't take the 5-feet step, then he doestn't move.)

Free from web Torin starts praying to Lirr.

Portho's turn

Continuing his tale of heroism, Portho knocks an arrow to his bow and fires through the flames at the spider. Beyond his expectations tge arrow flies straight and true, sinking into the spider with a satisfying crunch of breaking chitin.

[rolling d20+8+1 bow attack (15)+8+1= 24]
[rolling d4+1+1 (4)+1+1= 6 Damage!]

At least that's what Portho hoped for but the arrow fired at an invisible opponent did not emit any sounds like cracking chitin, bouncing off rock or whatsoever...

[OoC so the spider I can see across the flames is just an illusion?  I assumed the flames/webs would give concealment.. and even total concealment only gives a 50% miss chance so 57 would hit]

OOC - If you can see a spider there then it's DM's fault but personally I can't see the spider if I join as a player.... You can't see throug the web, burning or not and AFAIK neither of you have ability to pinpoint an opponent with total concealment.

[Torin]

At init 4.01 appears a celestial bision in front of Torin.
Torin goes closer to the web.
- The bison is belong to me.

Torin points to NE and says: "attack", so the bison goes through to the web and attacks the spider (if he can reach it).
